Jayden is the biggest name in the state’s Freshman class and is already holding D1 offers from Missouri, West Virginia and Cincinnati. What I appreciate about the big guard from Louisville is that he knows there is a bullseye on his back from his peers and he still comes to events and welcomes the competition.
Craig is a long and lanky forward who is one of the best prospects in the 12th region’s freshman class. He did see the floor in varsity games last year for Rockcastle and figures to be in the starting lineup as a freshman. He has versatility as an inside/out scorer and will hope to impress on Saturday.
If we were going to rank the class right now, Weis would be a top 5 prospect for sure. On Saturday he’ll have an opportunity to back that ranking up and possibly improve on it. Gabe is very athletic at 6’6 and has shown improved wing skills that should help as his game gets more polish as he ages.

Gaines comes from an absolutely loaded Western program that has as much talent as any high school I can remember in the last decade plus. Cayon could be the next man up on that list if he reaches his potential. Right now he’s somewhere between a big wing and an undersized post. If he grows a couple more inches and keeps adding to his skill set, he could be the next great Western Warrior.

Edelen joins Johnson as the two players at camp on Saturday who already hold D1 offers before starting high school. Cole is coming off an 8th grade season where he was one of the best shooters in the state at 49.6% from three. On Saturday, Edelen can be even more impressive by showing his full skill set as a finisher and distributor.
