1A. Kai Rogers Kai Rogers 6'10" | C Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #41 Nation WI (Wauwatosa West/ Wisconsin Playground Club )
The case for Rogers being No. 1? He’s extremely unique. He very well might be 1-of-1 in this 2025 class nationally. You don’t see a lot of young, 6-foot-10 post prospects move like Rogers nor possess his explosive athletic ability. He’s nowhere near a finished product, but Rogers is still ahead of a lot of where other elite bigs were at this stage when it comes to playing with his back to the basket. Rogers can score over either shoulder, fake one way and come back the other, and use the other side of the rim as well to go reverse. Rogers also does some things that are very hard to teach and some guys never develop the habits of keeping the ball high, having soft hands to catch in traffic, and read double teams. Looking to expand his game, Rogers is experimenting as a ball handler and 3-point shooter. He’s a strong free throw shooter already, which you gives you hope that the jumper will come. Defensively, Rogers is an elite shot blocker, but can also play away from the rim and stay in front of a guard/wing when he gets caught up in switches.
1B. Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI (Nicolet/Mac Irvin Fire)
The case for Hannah? Right now, he’s the best player in this class and his ceiling is still well ahead of him. A silky-smooth 6-foot-5 wing, Hannah is a triple-double threat everytime he steps out on the floor. While he’s a killer offensively, Hannah is a well-rounded prospect that can do it all — rebound, facilitate, defend, and make hustle plays. The kid just gets it and isn’t satisfied with just scoring points. As a scorer though, Hannah makes it look effortless. He can blow by a defender in the blink of an eye and just glide to the rim with ease. Good mid-range jump shooter not great and needs to expand his range as well, but Hannah isn’t looking to settle or take bad shots either. He’ll play with a relentless motor, picking up his man 94 feet from the rim, try and cause havoc, and then as soon as he comes into possession, it’s off to the races…and repeat.
3. Xzavion Mitchell Xzavion Mitchell 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2025 State #119 Nation WI (Oshkosh North/Team Herro)
Right now, Mitchell is more of a ‘4’, but think by his senior year he’ll be more of a combo forward. The 6-foot-7 sophomore is a terrific high post scorer. You let him catch in the 12-18 foot range, Mitchell will just go to work. Mitchell is probably one of the top 3-4 passers in this class right now too. The Oshkosh North star averaged more than 21 points per game as a freshman, but he’s got an unbelievable feel for his size and age. Also a prospect that can get coast-to-coast with the basketball, Mitchell jump starts the transition break as well as any prospect in this class. He’s outstanding in a zone defense as well — relentlessly pursuing the basketball and anticipating in the passing lanes.
4. T.J. Stuttley T.J. Stuttley 6'3" | SG Onalaska | 2025 #246 Nation MO (Onalaska/ Wisconsin Playground Club )
Don’t know what Stuttley is yet, but that’s the exciting part. The Onalaska product can play the point at 6-foot-5. He’s also got a little combo guard in him, even some small forward slashing ability as well. Stuttley didn’t play in July due to injury, but saw enough during his freshman season and during the spring. He’s a very difficult matchup with his size and skill level. Stuttley likes to run the show, break down the defense, and pick it apart as either a scorer or facilitator. Tough blue collar kid as well that will buy in defensively and play with passion on that end of the floor.
5. Zach Kinziger Zach Kinziger 6'3" | SG De Pere | 2025 State #127 Nation WI (De Pere/Team Herro)
Probably the best pure scorer in this 2025 class, Kinziger just knows how to put the ball in the hole. You can use him in so many ways. At 6-foot-2, Kinziger is a deadly 3-point sniper who will relentlessly run off screens. He’s got a great IQ and clearly pays attention to how he’s being defended, which will alter how he comes off and/or uses said screen. While he’s more of a ‘2-guard,’ Kinziger is sneaky good on the ball. If the paint is open, he’ll come down and blow-by athletes in the open floor. The De Pere product can finish at top end speed and has scary good touch in traffic. Type of prospect that can get hot and stay hot over the course of a game. With as many shots as he’s going to take, you need a short memory and I think Kinziger has that — not allowing the last attempt to dictate the next.
6. Aaron Womack Aaron Womack 6'3" | SF Dominican | 2025 State #228 Nation WI (Dominican/Team Haliburton)
Womack will likely trend positively over the next three years. He’s a plus-length sniper with a lot of promise. At 6-foot-6, Womack shoots it at a high clip from downtown and has some extended range as well. Given his raw, lanky body type and ball handling ability, think Womack has the tools to be a near unstoppable scorer in the future. There’s going to be defensive versatility here as well. Womack can defend 3-4 positions with his length and lateral quickness combination.
7. Devin Brown Devin Brown 6'7" | PF Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2025 State #196 Nation WI (Milwaukee Academy of Science/Power 5)
Brown reminds me of Isaiah Kelly, who played at Yale, but had a lot of power-five offers. Super athlete that dunks and blocks everything. If the skills catch up to the athletic measurables, Brown could be a really special prospect. If not, he’s still a game changer and momentum flipper on both ends of the floor.
8. Juan Guerrero-Hernandez (Grafton/ Wisconsin Playground Club )
I liked Juan Guerrero-Hernandez during the high school season. I like him even more after AAU. The Grafton product played with Wisconsin PGC during the Under Armour Finals and was the opposite of a deer in the headlights while playing on the big stage. A 6-foot-4 point guard with electric handles and an aggressive mindset, Hernandez can really attack off the bounce. When Hernandez gets to the rim, he’s got a variety of different finishing packages. Love him defensively as well. That long wingspan and high motor changes games for his team. This is a very good in-state 2025 class, but given his measurables, two-way ability and upside, think Hernandez belongs near the top right now.
9. Myles Herro Myles Herro 6'2" | PG Whitnall | 2025 State #237 Nation WI (Whitnall/Team Herro)
Herro may not score a ton of points, but he’s a connector for any team he’s on. Herro has an outstanding feel for the game, sees the floor differently, and can get his guys the ball in spots where they’ll be successful. The Whitnall guard operates really well in the pick n’ roll. At 6-foot-2, Herro has a lanky build and not even close to filling out physically, which gives him a chance to really boom as a prospect when he adds some strength/athleticism.
10. Cooper Jesperson Cooper Jesperson 6'2" | SG Eau Claire Memorial | 2025 State WI (Eau Claire Memorial/ Wisconsin Playmakers )
Was able to get some more film on Cooper Jesperson Cooper Jesperson 6'2" | SG Eau Claire Memorial | 2025 State WI after limited viewings in the spring. A prospect that can really shoot the basketball, Jesperson has an automatic stroke with in-the-gym range. He would routinely pump out 3-4 triples or more per outing over the summer. At 6-foot-2, Jesperson shows some flashes of being more than just a sniper as well. With time, think he’ll be a well-rounded scorer. Jesperson averaged six points per game as a freshman for a very good and senior-laden Eau Claire Memorial team. He was up around 10 points per game during the playoffs.
