These prospects all climbed 10+ spots since our last update after putting together a strong summer on the AAU circuit. Let’s take a closer look at some of those prospects. Even with missing a good portion of the summer due to injury, this 6’0″ guard still worked his way up our updated prospect rankings. Sorensen is highly skilled with the ball showcasing the ability to score it from all three levels. He’s a great three-point shooter off of the catch as well. Capable of playing on or off of the ball in the backcourt. Sorensen moved up from #70 to #53 overall in the Class of 2024.

Excellent under-the-radar prospect that more people around the state should be aware of. Tewari is an athletic guard that elevates well on his jump shot and uses his length to his advantage on both ends of the floor. Over the summer with EG10 Red he averaged around 14 points per game while shooting efficient percentages from the floor. He’s poised for a great junior season at Yorktown and jumped up to #59 in the state rankings.

A prospect that really stood out over the summer that wasn’t previously on our radar was this 6’6″ forward. Walston is a very versatile offensive threat with a well-balanced inside and outside game. He has the skill to play away from the basket while possessing the size and strength to bang around inside. After previously being on the Watch List, Walston has shot all the way into the Top 50 at #48 overall in the Class of 2024.
Highlights
Miller has good athleticism and size on the wing. The 6’3″ guard scores it in a variety of ways both as a primary ball-handler and off the catch from the perimeter. He’s continued to progress at a fast rate during his high school career and is poised for a breakout junior season on a talented Scottsburg team. Miller is now ranked #62 in the state of Indiana after previously being on the Watch List.
The defensive potential is one of the first thing that stands out when evaluating Johnson. The 6’2″ guard has the length to be a real disruptive force out on the perimeter getting deflections and steals leading to easy baskets. Offensively he handles the ball well, can create his own shot, and is a good finisher at the end of his drives. Johnson moved up from #91 to #73 overall in the updated Prep Hoops Indiana rankings.
Sims played with an out of state AAU team so he may fly under the radar to some in Indiana basketball circles. However, his talent demands some attention. He is a skilled guard that can play both on and off the ball, score it from any spot on the floor, and has good size on the perimeter. Sims jumped to #71 overall in the state from the Watch List. Look for him to really garner some attention during his junior season.
