Continue ReadingNo. 1 – Green opened his career with tons of intrigue and hype surrounding him. He landed multiple High Major offers as an underclassman from the likes of Auburn, UGA, Florida, Alabama and Xavier. Green’s first offer of 2022 came in May from Georgia State.
No. 2 – Jones County has been competitive and improving each season with Jaylen Sanford Jaylen Sanford 6’1″ | CG Jones County | 2023 State GA on the perimeter. Sanford is an impressive athlete that can play either on or off the ball. He does a good job getting downhill, but is also an effective three-point shooter that has seen his percentage climb each year from 27% to 32% to 45% last season, connecting on 34-76 threes, all career highs. Jaylen averaged 18.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1 steal as a junior.
Highlights
No. 3 – From Day 1, Cam Perkins was a difference maker with the ball in his hands. He’s a savvy high IQ guard that creates with the best of them. Perkins has a great knowledge of how to attack defenses, sucking them in before kicking out to shooters. Cam has nice wiggle downhill and sneaky explosiveness when finishing at the rim.
Highlights
No. 4 – Ice has a smooth game. He’s got a frame and game that translate to the next level. Christian scores with his jumper, creating off the dribble to get to the mid-range. Burnett can stroke it from deep and when teams extend out to him, he has the skill to get to the rim and finish while absorbing contact. Christian plays at his own pace and makes scoring look easy.
No. 5 – Named Class 4A’s Most Improved player this past season, Henderson enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in which he upped his averages from 9.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists to 21.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3 assists per game. While he sank more threes (20) than he had his previous two season combined (12), Henderson is still known as being a heavy slasher. He took a whopping 247 free throws over 30 games, averaging over eight attempts per game, sinking 72%.
