No. 1 – The number one ranked 2024 in Georgia moved into McEachern in the middle of the season from Tennessee. Bailey checks all the boxes. Size. Skill. Athleticism. Feel. Ace is a matchup nightmare with his ability to score all over the floor. He’s a great offensive rebounder and a graceful slasher. The five-star recruit may be the most dynamic player in Georgia.
No. 2 – Iowa State landed the top player outside of the GHSA. Jelani has dominated at Cumberland Christian, filling up box scores nightly. He has prototype size on the wing and the game to match, capable of scoring from all three levels. Hamilton makes the game look easy with how he’s able to get to his spots and score in a multitude of ways.
No. 3 – Jaiun first caught my eye as a rising sophomore. He looked special right away with his frame and inside-out game. Simon is a skilled scorer in the paint, able to hit turnaround jumpers out of the post or finish in traffic, but his mid-range game is deadly and will keep him on the perimeter was a wing. Simon is a battler defensively and on the glass. A plethora of Mid-Major schools have offered.
No. 4 – By midseason, Micah Smith Micah Smith 6’7″ | SF Sandy Creek | 2024 State #144 Nation GA could be near the top of this list. High Major offers have come in from a handful of schools. Smith’s size and athleticism from a young age have made him standout from Day 1. Micah can take opponents down to the block or space them out on the wing and attack off the dribble. He’s a strong rebounder as well. If Sandy Creek is to get over the hump, it will be on the back of Micah Smith Micah Smith 6’7″ | SF Sandy Creek | 2024 State #144 Nation GA .
No. 5 – Wilkins may be more of a long-term pick, but the bouncy 6-foot-7 combo-forward did come on strong down the stretch last season and average double digits at Heritage-Conyers. Wilkins is a quick leaper with good feet. He makes quick moves baseline and has the range to stretch the floor to the three-point line. There’s no arguing that Wilkins has one of the best ceilings in the 2025 class and will suit up with an exciting young Parkview team that also features star safety Mike Matthews Mike Matthews 6’1″ | PG Parkview | 2024 GA .
