Carson missed all of his junior season because of an injury. He was back at it this AAU season with North Dakota Phenom and Yale proved that he has the ability to play at the NSIC level. This coming year, Carson will be one of the top players in Class B. Every team that steps on the floor will have a difficult time matching up with the big Laker. In my opinion, Des Lacs-Burlington is the team to beat in Region 6. A large part of that is because of Carson Yale Carson Yale 6'9" | PF Des Lacs Burlington | 2023 State ND . If the Lakers take care of business and Yale puts up impressive numbers, I will not be surprised if he is a Mr. Basketball candidate by the end of the year. It is going to be a fun season of hoops and everyone should keep eyes on Des Lacs-Burlington and this 6’9″ forward. Congrats to Carson Yale Carson Yale 6'9" | PF Des Lacs Burlington | 2023 State ND on your commitment to Minots State and best of luck in your senior season!

“Yale loves the game.“
“He brings a 6’9” frame that moves well for his size. He finishes well around the rim (great dunker) can pull defenders away from the rim and knock down the outside shot. He rebounds and runs the floor well.“
“Carson will be a huge asset for us on the defensive/rebounding side of the ball.“
-Chris Brown, Des Lacs-Burlington head coach
“Carson is a player with a lot of untapped potential! Extremely explosive and freakishly athletic. Carson, shoots the ball well from 3pt range.” Coming off an injury, he showed signs of getting back to where he was before last season ended.”
-Joe Ware, ND Phenom head coach
“ Carson Yale Carson Yale 6'9" | PF Des Lacs Burlington | 2023 State ND is one of the hardest working and determined athletes I have had the opportunity to work with.”
“After a season-ending football injury, he hit rehab as hard as he could to make it back in time for our season. He has all of the physical tools that colleges look for at 6’9” with speed and bounce. Minot State is getting a good one as I expect Carson to be one of the best players in all of Class B North Dakota.”
“As a college player, particularly as a single sport athlete, I think he will refine his game and handle even more. Right now he can board, shoot, and post, where I think with college reps, his ability to make plays for himself offensively will go up tremendously.“
–Jordan Maurer, Director of ND Phenom

Carson Yale Carson Yale 6'9" | PF Des Lacs Burlington | 2023 State ND : “One that sticks out is one night in Vegas when myself, Anthony, and Tate were in the food court reminiscing about all the times we played against each other as kids. There are so many times that I can remember playing a bunch of guys that eventually would be my teammates. Of course, Anthony had to remind me of a 30-footer he hit in my face years ago. Playing great competition on the Prep Hoops Circuit is something I will also never forget. Endless laughs and late nights in cars and hotels are something that will be remembered by all of us.”
