Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL , Cayden Boozer Cayden Boozer 6'5" | PG Columbus | 2025 State #28 Nation FL , Benny Fragela Benny Fragela 5'11" | SG Columbus | 2025 State FL | Columbus
I went with the three 2025 player lineup because of this group’s talent and overall continuity, thanks to playing with each on Nightrydas EYBL. There’s a lot of talent on the 7A state champions roster, and Malik Abdullahi Malik Abdullahi 6'6" | SF Columbus | 2024 State FL realistically gives Columbus a fantastic four. The Boozer twins and Fragela hit all the needs of an elite team. Cameron gives you an incredibly versatile inside-out scoring and defensive piece, an elite rebounder, and the overall talent to stay number 1 in his class. Cayden is an elite-level floor general with the size, IQ, and athleticism to get where he wants on the floor and set his teammates up. Fragela provides elite shooting and energy on the defensive end.
Stone Bureau Stone Bureau 6'0" | PG Calvary Christian Academy, Ft. Lauderdale | 2024 State FL , Ian Smikle Ian Smikle 6'9" | C Suncoast | 2024 State FL , Nate Sasser Nate Sasser 6'6" | SG Suncoast | 2023 State #207 Nation FL | Suncoast
The core group is starting to earn the Division 1 attention their talent deserves. Bureau racked up interest from mid-major schools all summer. Smikle earned his first offer from High Point University after a solid summer with Nightrydas 16U. Sasser had a low-profile summer showing his talent on the EYBL circuit. Bureau is an athletic floor general that can finish above the rim on the break, consistently scores in double figures, and averages five assists a game in high school through summer ball. Smikle is one of the best traditional big men in the state, regardless of class. Great feet, good hands, and burgeoning athleticism will keep him on college radars. Sasser is a senior that plays both sides of the ball with the size and athleticism to stop wings while scoring as a slasher.
Michael Reyes Michael Reyes 6'4" | PG Barron Collier | 2023 State FL , Noah French Noah French 6'4" | SG Barron Collier | 2023 State FL , Bryce Clayton Bryce Clayton 6'3" | CG Barron Collier | 2023 State FL | Barron Collier
This group played heavy minutes on a Barron Collier team that went deep into the playoffs. Reyes played back up to a talented guard and flourished this summer with more time on the ball. The 6’4 combo guard is bouncy in transition, has passing vision, and scores with the jumper on all levels. French scored half of his 276 high school points from 46 made threes. The 6’4 wing has the size and shooting to make waves for the right team. Clayton led Barron Collier in scoring at 15 a game dropping 80 threes on the season. He’s listed at 6’4 like his teammates, has the quickness to attack closeouts, deep range, and high academics.
Sam Walters Sam Walters 6'9" | PF The Villages | 2023 State #96 Nation FL , Kymani Weathers, Chris Washington Jr. | The Villages Charter
This is the most exciting trio out of our quintet. Walters is the group’s elder statesman and will guide two talented freshmen over the season. They’re one of the state’s longest and most athletic forward tandems. Walters’s elite movement skills, defensive versatility, and advancing offensive skill set will sharpen his younger teammates. Weathers is a long rim runner and play finisher that can create on the wing. Washington Jr. is a long iso scorer with elite athletic pop. Good look with dealing with their size all season.
Alexander Lloyd Alexander Lloyd 6'4" | SG Westminster | 2025 State #64 Nation FL , Dwayne Wimbley Dwayne Wimbley 6'6" | SG Dillard | 2025 State #175 Nation FL Jr., Jaylen Carey Jaylen Carey 6'8" | PF Westminster Academy | 2023 State #129 Nation FL | Westminster Academy
Wimberly Jr. joins one of last year’s best duos in the state. Lloyd and Wimberly, both 2025 prospects, are considered high major combo guards, and Carey is coming off two monster EYBL sessions. Lloyd’s 23.7 points per game make him the youngest returning top 15 scorer in the state. He’s a flat out scorer with the athleticism and passing vision to play either backcourt spot. Wimberly Jr. is an athletic 6’6 wing with a consistent stroke from deep. Carey’s success added a few more options to his offer list. This will be a tough group to stop at every level of the game.
