Trevor Hennig Trevor Hennig 6'4" | SG Mt Si | 2024 State WA , 6’4, Guard, Mount Si, C/O 2023
It will be a highly anticipated return to the floor for Hennig next year. A back injury sidelined him in the finishing stages of the 21′-22′ high school season, but the smart two-way two guard will be one to keep an eye on as he gets back into rhythm with the Wildcats’ new corps. Trevor is a top notch floor spacer. He can get it going from the perimeter as an off ball shooter and he showed his consistency in that area along with the ability to put the ball on the floor out of the triple threat position. Averaging 16.9 points and 4 boards a game as a junior, he was a Second Team All-League pick. I’d expect him to re-establish himself as one of the better names to know out of 4A KingCo when he gets back healthy.
Alex Yu Alex Yu 6'3" | CG Bellevue | 2023 State WA , 6’3, Wing, Bellevue, C/O 2023
Alex is one the best glue guys in his class and he consistently shows up to play. Running with a talented FOH Seattle squad, he was a good fit on the 17U squad. Yu is a willing rebounder and defender and plays with energy. At 6-foot-3, he can play the four with his size at the varsity level on most nights, but he is gifted enough as an outside shooter to fit into the guard or wing slot. He’ll make the right reads and take the right shots more often than not. Returning to Bellevue as a senior, the ball could be in his hands even more than it was last year with 23′ point guard Brady Kageyama Brady Kageyama 6'0" | PG Bellevue | 2023 State WA returning, too.
Shelton Henton Shelton Henton 6'4" | SG Interlake | 2025 AZ , 6’4, Guard/Wing, Interlake, C/O 2025
Henton is an athletic swingman with a ton of room for growth as a sophomore next year. With long arms and a bounciness to him, he doesn’t have much trouble getting into the paint to score or bothering opposing perimeter players with his length. He’s a streaky shooter at times, but he can drain three in a row in a moments notice. As he grows into his body a bit more, I can see him reaching new heights on the offensive end as Interlake’s top option.
Drew Jensen, 6’4, Wing, North Creek, C/O 2023
With a bulky frame and excellent touch from behind the 3-point line, Drew impacts the game in a lot of ways. He was an All-League player last season and has slipped under the radar over the spring and summer. Jensen is a competitive, gutsy player on both ends of the floor and his strength allows him to take a lot of hits defensively and while driving the lane. He is a rhythm scorer from deep with a high release point and had several games last year with 5+ 3-pointers, including a school record 14 triples against Cedar Park Christian.
Dylan Reilly Dylan Reilly 6'6" | SG Skyline | 2023 State WA , 6’5, Forward, Skyline, C/O 2023
Reilly is a player who could make a big leap next season within the 4A conference. Dylan is a unique prospect with a smooth lefty jumper to pair with size to go to work on the low block. He’s a true stretch player and has the ballhandling ability to create his own shot from deep. One of his staples is the fall away jumper from the post, which he can convert with his soft touch and takes advantage against smaller players when they are forced to switch to him.
Brady Kageyama Brady Kageyama 6'0" | PG Bellevue | 2023 State WA , 6’0, PG/SG, Bellevue, C/O 2023
Kageyama does the things you love to see from a quick point guard with floor general skills. He works well out of the P&R and can get open looks for his teammates or pull up off the dribble. He’s a blur when he gets downhill and he knows when to finish high off the glass against rim protectors. From 3, he can get clean looks with a transition pull-up, or coming off screens in the half court. I can see Brady having a strong senior year as the Wolverines looks to build off a 10-2 league record and second place conference finish in 21-22′.
