Travis is a super quick, and skilled guard. He has an explosive first step, and a very effective crossover. He is still growing and developing his frame, but he is already showing the ability to finish over bigger defenders, and absorb contact. He is a guard, who can run the offense, and doesn’t turn the ball over a lot. He is improving his shot and that will make him a three level scorer. He plays bigger than his listed size. He plays with high energy on defense and is active in the passing lanes. He has very good lateral quickness, and does a good job cutting off angles for ball handlers. Travis has a lot of potential, and will continue to raise his stock this coming season.
Nick’s best attribute is his 3 point shoot. He had multiple games with over 5 three pointers made last season. As just a freshman on the varsity team, he started every game in the competitive ISL league. During the season he totaled 49 three pointers, and averaged double digit points. He proved that he is ready for the varsity level. Nick moves well away from the ball, and is good shooting off screens, and cuts. Nick is not just a shooter. He is working on developing his other facets of his game. When he does that he will be an even tough player to defend.
Highlights
Drew is one of the more athletic guards in the rankings. He can play above the rim, and has a good shooting motion from the outside. He has a high vertical, and at 6-0 he can dunk. He can finish consistently at the rim and through contact. He rebounds the ball very well for a guard. Drew has a tight handle, and a quick first step. On defense he is very tough, and is able to guard players taller than him. Drew has a lot of potential with his athleticism, and skill set. He is a hard working player, and rarely looks tired on the floor.
the southpaw guard is mature years above his age. He can be the teams leading scorer, or lead the team in assists. He has great court vision, and makes players around him better. He is a three level scorer, and can shoot, and attack down hill. It’s a really good asset when a team has a multi dimensional player. Emerson does what’s best for the team, what is best in the flow of the game. Keep an eye on Emerson in his sophomore season.
Vincent is a 6-7 guard with a high ceiling. He has great length for a guard, and stretches the floor. He is athletic, and can shoot or attack the rim. His length and athleticism makes him able to switch without a miss match on defense. He can guard on the perimeter, and also be a rim protector. His combination of skills and size make him tough to matchup with
