Jacob had offers as a incoming freshman. He’s had an injury, a Covid year and plays on a loaded veteran team. He has shown flashes of his enormous talent. Now this coming season he will show the CHSAA what college coaches and Stepinac knows. A terrific skill set a big guy who can step out and shoot it. Athletic and long he commands the paint on both ends.
Brandon has a great feel for the game. High basketball IQ. He knows what he needs to do to be successful and to help his team win. Has a strong body. Uses it well inside to rebound. Can score inside. Possesses an excellent mid range game.
A son of former NBA player by the same name. Howard is a aggressive player on both ends. Has a strong frame he is hard to knock off the ball. During the CHSAA team camp he was very impressive handling the ball. Gets into the lane and finishes through contact.
Fresh off of a top 25 national ranking Cardinal Hayes will be in good hands with the players coming back and Elijah is part of that nucleus. Extremely confident player with the ball in his hands. He can stroke the three or get inside. Elevates and his release is outstanding.
Jaydin has been catching the eye of a lot of opposing coaches. He possesses unlimited range. He is excellent coming off a screen and getting his shot off the catch. Has a smooth handle.
Raliek is fearless getting to the rim. He initiates contact and finishes. Very good at driving the ball off the wing.
A 6”5 player who can step out and drill the three off the wing. Chaminade runs a lot of pin downs and screens to get their shooters the ball and Joe will benefit from that with his deadly jumper. He also showed the willingness to bang inside to rebound or score.
