- The biggest news on the recruiting front last week was Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN (Brownstown Central H.S. 2024) announcing his commitment to Coach Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers on Thursday. His offer came on June 27th and just a couple of weeks later he pulled the trigger on his commitment.
- Also making big commitment news not long after receiving the initial offer was 6’9″ center Zane Doughty Zane Doughty 6'8" | C Ben Davis | 2023 State IN (Ben Davis H.S. 2023) popping for Valparaiso. The IBCA Core Junior All-Star and “Supreme 15” selection had just recently visited the school before making his decision.
- Previously unsigned senior Omari Ferguson Omari Ferguson 6'3" | SG Indianapolis Metropolitan | 2023 IN (Indianapolis Metropolitan 2022) committed to Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
- Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023) continued to add to his ever growing list of scholarship offers. This past week he added Florida Atlantic, Central Florida, and George Washington.
- Brandon Trilli Brandon Trilli 6'5" | SF Munster | 2023 State IN (Munster H.S. 2023) took his recruitment to a new level with his first Division II offer from Northern Michigan.
- The Big 10 continues to be in hot pursuit of 6’6″ point guard Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN (Fishers H.S. 2025). The Top 25 national prospect added offers from Michigan and Michigan State last week. Oklahoma also offered.
- 5-star center Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN (Kokomo H.S. 2024) added offers from Georgetown and Cincinnati.
- Jake Davis Jake Davis 6'6" | SF Cathedral | 2023 State IN (Cathedral H.S. 2023) finally broke through to the Division I level with his offers this week. The 6’6″ sharpshooter was offered by Southeast Missouri State and Mercer. Indiana Tech also joined the party.
- 6’5″ versatile wing/forward Gavin Welch Gavin Welch 6'6" | SF New Castle | 2023 State IN (New Castle H.S. 2023) took a visit to Bethel and was offered while on campus. The University of Mobile also extended an offer over the weekend.
- DaJohn Craig DaJohn Craig 6'1" | PG Lawrence Central | 2023 State IN (Lawrence Central H.S. 2023) was offered by Wabash College while visiting the school on Wednesday. The Little Giants are coming off of a trip to the Division III Final Four.
- Also on Wednesday, Drew Cook Drew Cook 6'0" | SG Northview | 2023 State IN (Northview H.S. 2023) visited DePauw.
- On Tuesday, 6’5″ wing Nate Matelic Nate Matelic 6'5" | SG Speedway | 2023 State IN (Speedway H.S. 2023) went on a visit to Anderson.
- Manchester hosted and offered Cameron Young Cameron Young 6'2" | SF Plainfield | 2023 IN (Plainfield H.S. 2023).
- Manchester also had 6’5″ forward Shaun Arnold Shaun Arnold 6'5" | PF Ben Davis | 2023 State IN (Ben Davis H.S. 2023) on campus this week.
- JaQualon Roberts JaQualon Roberts 6'8" | PF Bloomington North | 2023 State IN (Bloomington H.S. North 2023) added offers from Ball State and West Virginia.
- 6’7″ forward Grant Leeper Grant Leeper 6'7" | C Homestead | 2023 State IN (Homestead H.S. 2023) was offered by Goshen.
- T.J. Wilson T.J. Wilson 6'5" | SF Terre Haute South | 2023 IN (Terre Haute South H.S. 2023) reported offers from Lake Erie, Cloud County, Elmhurst, and North Park while playing at the Prep Hoops Grit Region Finals.
