Kyler D’Augustino Kyler D’Augustino 6'1" | CG Albany Alexander | 2023 State OH , 6’1 CG Alexander 2023 Mid Ohio Pumas 17U: D’Augustino had a big start to his weekend, going off for 34 points in their second victory but continued his scoring rampage on Friday morning. D’Augustino does a good job of getting a slight advantage off the bounce and keeping it with his strength and body. D’Augustino is a relentless attacker at the rim, not afraid of contact or drawing fouls. D’Augustino has become a priority for Division II programs and has gotten some Division I interest as well.
Luke Kuhlman Luke Kuhlman 6'4" | SF Dublin Jerome | 2023 State OH , 6’5 SF Dublin Jerome 2023 Mid Ohio Pumas 17U: Kuhlman had a solid shooting game from the outside, continuing to display his most appealing skill to college coaches. Kuhlman also had an increased focus on the glass, grabbing seven rebounds as well. Kuhlman will need to continue to focus on this skill because he’s going to be guarding small and power forwards at the next level, and can’t back down from stronger opponents physically. Kuhlman will provide floor spacing and the potential to get hot in a hurry from 3-point range.
Raleigh Burgess Raleigh Burgess 6'10" | C Sycamore | 2024 State #130 Nation OH , 6’10 C Sycamore 2024 Indiana Elite 16U: It’s important to see prospects in multiple settings and this theory is proven by Burgess. With his high school team you see him post up a lot, use his powering frame to bully smaller teams and display his soft hands to catch interior passes. With Indiana Elite, Burgess plays next to the top center in the country Flory Bidunga and is more of a floor spacer. Burgess makes outside shots and is a quick decision maker with the basketball. When Burgess had the ball in the paint he was up and down finishing against bigger bodied Atlanta area forwards. Burgess has become a high major priority throughout the nation and should continue to climb in national rankings.
Nathan Dudukovich Nathan Dudukovich 6'2" | SG Lakota West | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Lakota West 2023 Midwest Basketball Club Gold 17U: Dudukovich is a shooter who can get hot in a hurry and has had some huge scoring games on the Adidas Gold circuit this spring and summer. Dudukovich is a bit undersized for an off guard, but his floor spacing and ability to take care of the basketball could make him valuable next to a bigger creator. Dudukovich had a huge Junior season as a scorer and is in line to increase those numbers as a senior with some new guards next to him.
Collin O’Connor Collin O’Connor 6'2" | SG Centerville | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Centerville 2023 Midwest Basketball Club 17U: O’Connor is a small town kid, making the transfer from Tecumseh to Centerville for his senior season. This move could really boost his recruiting interest as there’s a lot to like about his game. For starters, O’Connor is one of the best on-ball perimeter defenders in the state. He moves his feet well and is disciplined, causing a lot of trouble for opposing ball handlers. O’Connor has shown the ability to beat defenders off the bounce and create stuff for himself and teammates, but struggled a bit against the athleticism of Dream Vision. I think O’Connor should be getting offers from top Division II programs and interest from low-mid major programs in the midwest as well. Defiantly a prospect to keep on the radar into the winter.
Andrea Holden Andrea Holden 6'5" | C Hamilton | 2024 State OH , 6’5 C Hamilton 2024 Midwest Basketball Club 16U: Holden is a prospect I saw for the first time at the KABC Titans shootout and was interested with his physical tools, now seeing him on the 3SSB circuit, I’m even more impressed. Holden is built impressively well and has a quick explosion to contest shots and rise for dunks. Holden was protecting the rim well and finishing around the basket. His upside is capped due to his height and being a center positionally, but Holden proved he could compete against some big name players this weekend.
Mikey McCollum Mikey McCollum 6'3" | PG Olentangy Orange | 2023 State OH , 6’3 PG Olentangy Orange 2023 Ohio United 17U: Ohio United feel behind over 15 points early in my final game of the day and I was thinking it would be an early night, McCollum prevented that by giving his team a jolt of energy off the bench that carried for the rest of the game. While McCollum was up and down shooting it from the outside, he was setting his teammates up often and providing energy and communication defensively. After the rough start, Ohio United fought all the way back and had a shot at the end to take the lead but McCollum’s shot fell just short and they lost by three. I was impressed by the effort of the entire team to climb back from the early deficit against a more physical and athletic squad.
