Teams from all over the region came to one location to compete and these players made sure the show you why they are one of the best in the region.
Jack Bommarito (I AM 3 Prospects 2023)- One of the most under the radar kids right now that is just getting started on the court. We heard about all the hype on Jack and came to watch for ourself, he’s worth the watch without a doubt! Watching him play against team takeover, he started out slow and got injured early on. We stayed and after he injured his ankle he checks back in and goes completely off! Jack scored 8 straight points for his team knocking down 2 3s, and a floater on a messed up ankle. No complaints from the kid just the eye of the tiger look in his eyes. He has a good frame, extremely skilled and a very high ceiling to take his game to another level. Bommarito is drawing a lot of attention heading into the live weekend tournament and we see why.
Tyler Eguia (I AM 3 Prospects 2023)- Tyler, a bucket off the bounce is what he is. He fits the modern style of basketball that this generation plays. Tyler has a knack for scoring off the bounce at a high percentage and gets to his spots whenever he wants. You don’t love it when players shoot off balance shots leaning in a direction but you can’t argue that rule when you see Tyler play because he makes it look so easy. At 6’2″ he can shoot over small guards with ease when they are matched up with him.
DJ Woods (Flash! Elite 2025)- One of the highest motors you will see on the basketball court. DJ makes sure no possessions goes by without him making an impact on it. His ability to be relentless sprinting the floor chasing the next rebound is second to none. He gets a lot of offensive rebounds and tons of put backs with his jumping ability and his knack to know where the ball is going. When you see him play you will think of a workhorse that’s willing to outplay anybody.
Zion Young Zion Young 6'2" | CG Life Prep | 2023 State KS (Hunt United 2023)- The lefty is very entertaining to watch and you can only imagine how far he can go. Already being a lefty and throwing people off, he loves to create his shot in iso situations and exploiting the defense when there is no help side. Spent some time in the weight room, he has shown that in his physicality of play all weekend long. Bumping defenders off of him to finish and not letting small tactics get to him when he’s shooting his jumper.
Carter Carbonell (I AM 3 Prospects 2023)- This might be everyone favorite player if you watch him play. Whats not to love about the kid? A ball hawk on the defensive end harassing the ball handlers anytime they have it and he’s in. Carter plays at a great tempo which is fast but he’s under control so he keeps the game exciting. He is as efficient as they come, ending the weekend on 40% from the FG, 71% behind the 3 point line and 83% from the free throw line. At just 6ft he plays with an extreme amount of heart and is coachable like none other. Anyone can direct him and it’s a 10 out of 10 he will listen and execute.
