Hudson Horvath Hudson Horvath 6'1" | PG Park Tudor | 2025 State IN , EG10: Horvath is a pure bucket getter. He put up a couple really impressive scoring numbers this weekend, and was the true X-factor to their 4-0 mark on the weekend. He started off with a bang, scoring 35 points Friday against Powerhouse Sports on five 3-pointers. The next morning, he scored 24 points and found buckets from all three levels to take down Wisconsin Crusaders. There wasn’t a point in either of these games where Horvath had a cold spell. Two clutch 3-pointers by Horvath sealed the win that game.
Drew Daoust, Wisconsin Crusaders: I think Daoust had a breakout weekend. He’s a high motor prospect capable of getting to the basket, scoring in traffic, and sharing the rock on offense. A chase down block against EG10 showed terrific hustle and strong defensive potential. In a close game Sunday morning, Daoust took over the game, scoring 10 straight points from 3, the midrange, and inside to begin the 2nd half. Daoust was on-point this weekend.
Colby Smith Colby Smith 6'3" | PG New Trier | 2025 State IL , Full Package Black: Smith is one of the most athletic, explosive player’s I’ve watched over the past couple weeks. His upside is probably the highest of anyone on this list. Smith scored 23 points to end the weekend against Team GRIII Elite. He took over the game with several tough buckets to tie the game late. Despite the loss, Smith was easily the best player on the floor. Before that, Smith had an intriguing opening half against DBallers. Scoring 13 points that half and taking the charge en route to a big win.
Cameron Thomas Cameron Thomas 6'3" | PG Mount Carmel | 2025 State IL , Dream Chasers Elite: Cam Thomas put up huge scoring numbers this weekend. He started with 23 points Friday to win a nail-bitter against Wisconsin premier. Displaying tons of confidence shooting off the dribble, stepping back, and impacting the game down low. In game 2, Thomas dropped 30 points. Here, you saw him become more impactful on the block, and stretching the floor out. Showing off both guard and forward skills. He stayed hot with multiple 3’s too. In his final game, you saw the defense and athleticism come into effect. Scoring 26 points with a nice dunk off a steal, and more buckets from midrange and beyond the arc. He also averaged 7 rebounds per game this weekend.
Amari Washington Amari Washington 6'4" | SF Bettendorf | 2025 State IA , Iowa Barnstormers: The most efficient player for the 15u Barnstormers this weekend, Washington displays a bigger frame and can make an impact on many areas of the floor. Washington has solid post play on offense and defense with his above-average size. Capable of finishing at the rim and blocking shots. But his abilities to shoot and slash the floor are just as impressive. He’s a player who’s stock will surely rise in the future
