AJ Patterson
AJ Patterson is a strong, heady point guard that had an impressive summer and is on track for a breakout season this year at Mount Vernon. Patterson knows how to control the pace and sees the floor really well. He’s crafty when he gets inside, using a variety of moves to score the ball. Patterson has proven to be a high-IQ guy that’s ready to run the point at the next level. Patterson’s recruitment should begin to pickup after a strong showing this summer.
Jadon Yeh Jadon Yeh 6’1″ | PG White County | 2023 State GA was undoubtedly one of my favorite players to watch over the summer because of his energy and toughness. In addition to his aggression on both ends, Yeh can flat-out score the ball. At the GBCA Camp which featured over 100 high school teams, Yeh led the camp in scoring averaging over 20 PPG. He’s got a beautiful outside shot and can knock down tough looks on the move as well. Yeh has recently picked up a few D2 offers but his list should continue to grow.
Kory Mincy Kory Mincy 6’1″ | PG Tri-Cities | 2023 State GA has upped his stock as much as anyone after an outstanding summer with AE5. Mincy is a true floor general with the ball in his hands, setting up his teammates and running the offense. He’s got a quick first step that allows him to get by defenders and to the rim. He can score in bunches but doesn’t force too much. Mincy has proven to be a capable shot-creator and uses his floater well around the paint. Presbyterian and Clarke Atlanta have already offered.
Caleb Smith
Caleb Smith
Caleb Smith is an explosive combo guard who had a really strong summer playing with AC Georgia. Smith has transformed into a beast of guard over the past year, physically dominating the game with his strength and athleticism. He plays with a high motor, swatting away layups and converting many put-backs which a lot of guards aren’t doing. Smith has also shown the ability to knock down the 3 consistently off the catch or dribble. I certainly believe Caleb Smith is one of Georgia’s most underrated 2023’s.

Keishawn Hampton Keishawn Hampton 6'1" | PG Collins Hill | 2023 State GA
Keishawn Hampton Keishawn Hampton 6’1″ | PG Collins Hill | 2023 State GA filled the scoresheet time and time again this summer, both with Collins Hill and the Norcross Heat. He’s shown that he can score from all 3 levels and do so at an elite level. Hampton loves to get to his pull-up mid-range jumper where he’s just so consistent. He’s a solid ball-handler and commands the floor well but isn’t going to over-dribble. Hampton can provide a dangerous scoring threat in the backcourt that a lot of colleges could use. Emory & Henry and Thomas University have recently offered.
