Cal Furnish Cal Furnish 5'11" | PG Crossings Christian | 2025 State OK – 2025 Guard – Crossings Christian
We were in the building for Cal Furnish Cal Furnish 5'11" | PG Crossings Christian | 2025 State OK and his coming out party back in December. While Crossings Christian was participating in the Tournament Of Champions, Furnish emerged as a freshman that you needed to take note of immediately. He finished off the year as one of the best freshmen in the state and that’s really only continued this offseason. When our first 2025 rankings were released in June, Furnish was already a top ten prospect so there isn’t much room for “growth” when it comes to rankings but Furnish has truly grown as a prospect. He’s had a great offseason and has shown that he’s much more than just a shooter. He’s turning into a true playmaker on the offensive side of the floor. While he was known mainly for his shooting as a freshman, we believe that he’s going to be more of an overall playmaker down the line. Crossings will look to Furnish to become the leader of this young team after graduating a few key seniors. Furnish showed that he’s ready for that role last year as a freshman and will only get better and more comfortable moving forward.
Jarreth Ingram Jarreth Ingram 6'4" | SF Noah | 2023 State OK – 2023 Forward – Memorial
We can’t wait for the next high school season for many reasons but one of them is to see how defending 5A champion Memorial looks after graduating so many important seniors from their 2022 championship squad. And the number one returning player we want to see for the Chargers is Jarreth Ingram Jarreth Ingram 6'4" | SF Noah | 2023 State OK . We watched Memorial quite a bit early on in their championship season and it was apparent that Ingram was going to play the “sixth man” role and he was arguably the best in the state in that position. But with the Chargers losing quite a few seniors, Ingram will be one of the top players returning for the Chargers this winter. He’s one of the best athletes in the state and you don’t have to see very much to be convinced of that. Ingram is the first of a couple standouts from the Tulsa Hawks program in this post. He’s had an outstanding offseason with the Hawks and has emerged as a top ten prospect within the state’s 2023 class. as he continues to improve his shooting to go with that athleticism, Ingram is going to be a very fun prospect to watch this upcoming winter.
Ladainian Fields Ladainian Fields 6'2" | CG Del City | 2024 OK – 2024 Guard – Southeast
It’s not very often that Oklahoma produces prospects that are considered top ten or close to top ten prospects in multiple sports. One case is Mustang 2023 star Jacobe Johnson Jacobe Johnson 6'3" | SG Mustang | 2023 State OK , who is a top ten prospect in both. Another is Southeast’s 2024 standout Ladainian Fields Ladainian Fields 6'2" | CG Del City | 2024 OK . He’s a top ten prospect in basketball and has been near the top ten in football in a few ranking updates. Fields is an outstanding wide receiver on the gridiron and not enough people are talking about his playmaking abilities there. But on the basketball court, very few have had a better offseason than Fields. He finished up a great sophomore season as he helped lead Southeast to the state tournament. And throughout this offseason, Fields has been excellent on both sides of the ball. On offense, he’s incredibly explosive and twitchy and you can tell why he’s a top prospect in multiple sports immediately. Fields still has two years of high school left but colleges are going to start pursuing him for both sports sooner rather than later.
Lathan Boone Lathan Boone 6'1" | CG Booker T Washington | 2023 State OK – 2023 Guard – Booker T Washington
We go from one two-sport prospect to another and from Oklahoma City to Tulsa with 2023 guard and Booker T Washington standout Lathan Boone Lathan Boone 6'1" | CG Booker T Washington | 2023 State OK . Like Fields, it appears that Boone’s top sport might be football but he’s making a great case that he’s a guard to watch this upcoming season. Throughout the last school season, Boone was one of the top defenders in the state, regardless of class. Hornet teammates Aaron Potter and Kam Parker might have gotten more pub but Boone was such a valuable part to what they did last winter. And throughout the spring, Boone has continued to raise his stock on the basketball floor while playing with the Tulsa Hawks. While his defense is his calling card in our opinion, he has also shown that he can make plenty of things happen on the offensive side of the floor. On the football field, Boone is Booker T Washington’s starting quarterback and has turned into quite an interesting prospect there as well. At this point, it’s hard to not consider Boone a legit two-sport prospect.
Tatum Ridge Tatum Ridge 6'2" | CG Edmond North | 2024 State OK – 2024 Guard – Edmond North
It seems like we write this about every Edmond North prospect but just in case you’ve been living under a rock, Edmond North is absolutely loaded. Not only did they win the 6A state championship in March, the best players on their team are all 2024 prospects and have two more years of high school ball remaining. One of those 2024 prospects that didn’t get as much pub during the high school season but he’s had an outstanding offseason is guard Tatum Ridge Tatum Ridge 6'2" | CG Edmond North | 2024 State OK . We first got a chance to see Ridge during April and May while he played with H&H Elite. The lefty guard was so consistent every time we saw him and was incredibly poised in just about every game. That’s one thing that stands out to us when we look back on the offseason he’s had. He never really had moments on the court where he got rattled, which is exactly what you want to see from your point guard, who’s controlling the offense and the flow of the game. Ridge is definitely a prospect that’s on a loaded Edmond North squad but should still be one to watch this winter.
