NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2021 Timberwolves Austin Rivers
College Projection: NAIA/NAIA+
Davon was third-best sophomore of the entire event. His game projects to a solid wing scorer, possibly this upcoming winter. He can handle really well at 6-foot-1 with a nearly 6-foot-4 wingspan. Expect him to grow another inch or two and with his athleticism hopefully mature into a two-way player.
Martin’s mid-range looks solid, though not yet unstoppable. He shows nice touch on the catch and looks like a young player with the foundation for future success at the highest levels of TSSAA with a strong shot at college somewhere. His limitations are few and he looks like a budding guard with a strong frame and reliable fundamentals. Quicker than you would expect from a player with his strength. The sprint times really measured up favorably to other off-guards and small forward peers.
Only two sophomores made the All-Star Game and Davon would have been the third alongside Adarius Brewster Adarius Brewster 6'3" | SG Tyner Academy | 2025 State TN if the choice was extended to 25ish. Davon Martin Davon Martin 6'1" | SG Kenwood | 2025 State TN looks to be on pace to hit 6-foot-3 and sturdy. His wingspan is a +2.5″, and the frame is certainly ideal to put on muscle.
Martin recorded an average sprint speed (4.0, 3.9) for the event, but clearly better than most of his ’25 peers both in attendance and across the state.
Davon Martin Davon Martin 6'1" | SG Kenwood | 2025 State TN appeared to be a young small forward still growing into his body during the measurement phase, but the skills showed during the open play suggested that Davon is a future guard, possibly point guard. His handle and ability to probe with the dribble are really strong as a Class of 2025 prospect. He is able to hit a shot off-the-dribble and might be a future outside shooter with more training.

College Projection: Mid-Major D1
Tremendous athlete. Brooks’ sprints and speed and explosion knew no peer at our event.
Jasen put together the greatest mix of lane agility, sprinting, and jumping the entire day. Brooks’ lane agility time (9.92) was the best in the five year history of this event.
His passing was very good and he matured into a true point guard in the last year+. He is an eager passer at 6-foot-1 and makes his teammates better, a true hallmark of a great point guard. His outside shot is still not perfect, but it is much improved from even six months ago.
During the event, Brooks earned Defensive MVP, All-Star, Co-MVP. He was the most decorated individual and will be a D1 player.
