Jaylen Carrington 6’1 PG/SG
Carrington stood out as a dynamic guard who could turn a game into a track meet with his speed. With an elite first step and quickness off the dribble, he lived at the rim and couldn’t be stopped when he decided to get to the cup. I also enjoyed his ability to attack out of pick and rolls where he can put pressure on bigs, knock down shots against the drop, or make a pocket pass to the roller. Though he has stand-out speed, Carrington is crafty and can break down defenses with his smooth handle and is a dependable shooter off the catch from deep. Though he’s a primary scorer, he shows excellent vision and can create looks for others as a primary ball-handler. His ability to get paint touches opens up dump-off passes, shots on the perimeter and consistently forces the defense to rotate.

Zion Fletcher Zion Fletcher 6'1" | PG Auburn | 2023 AL 6’1 PG/SG
Fletcher stood out with his dog mentality and competitive fire. His willingness to scrap on defense had a visible impact on his team. Fletcher shows great lateral quickness and can contain dribble drives consistently. He forced the opposing team into a lot of difficult shots whenever in isolation situations and actively looked to matchup against the opposing team’s best player. Though slightly undersized, he has the heart and IQ to match up against taller players- using his lower center of gravity to disrupt their dribbling and timing. He also showed solid help defense and a knack for stripping the ball away on drives. Offensively Fletcher is an off-ball floor spacer who Can knock down shots off the catch and occasionally create off the bounce as a secondary scoring option.
Auburn Raptors 2023 with a 76-48 win vs Athletes of Influence 2023. Top performers are Jaylen Carrington 21, Zion Fletcher 18, KJ Graves 17. This squad can play!!! @thephcircuit @PrepHoopsAL #PrepHoopsLiveATL pic.twitter.com/OMhOiaGRSj

Jacob Wilson Jacob Wilson 5'7" | PG Brewbaker Tech | 2023 AL 6’0 PG
Wilson is a pure point guard who excels at getting the best shot every time down the court. He has a great understanding of pace and when to get out on the break or slow it down for a half-court set. He seems to frequently get into the teeth of the defense to create looks for others and is very unselfish when driving to the hoop. Wilson also shows great touch in the midrange area and an ability to create for himself if the play breaks down. He also gives solid effort on the defensive end and can be disruptive in the passing lane.
Kj Graves Kj Graves 5'10" | PG Park Crossing | 2023 State AL 5’10 PG
Graves was a star in his role on the third day of the tournament. He played with incredible bounce, pace, and energy as a spark plug off the bench. In the sixth man role, he was aggressive in finding his shots, getting to his spots, and attacking the defense whenever he had the chance. Allowed for other guards to get off the ball and found them for some easy looks. His quick-twitch and solid handle allowed him to lead the second unit and contribute amongst starters.
