Florida Check In
Teams and prospects from my home state absolutely showed out! Ball4Lyfe played in many people’s game of the circuit that saw Anquan Boldin go for 29 points playing an amazing game on both ends of the floor. He hit four of six three point attempts, blocked four shots, and used his well-documented athleticism to finish through contact at the cup. If he can harness this level of shooting he’ll reach his high ceiling.
Mayen Ayuel is new to the circuit and recently transferred back to the state with a big 34 point performance and the game winner. He took advantage of his 6’7 size in the post and on drives. Ayuel controls his body well in transition to send dodge defenders. The 2023 prospect knocked down a trio of triples, finished alley oops, and made several shots off the dribble. It was a big time offensive performance. When his defensive intensity matches up to his scoring he’ll be a tough prospect to pass on.
Ayuel’s teammate Joseph Lezeau Joseph Lezeau 6'6" | SF Centennial | 2023 State FL is a true 6’6 wing that plays hard. His athleticism and physical build led to several trips to the free throw line from drives. He rebounds, defends, and can knock down perimeter shots.
Keenan Johnson Keenan Johnson 6'7" | SF West Nassau | 2023 FL of 904Elite was up to his tantalizing play. The athletic 6’7 forward flew around on the defensive end and knocked down three shots from behind the line. He made several shots off the dribble. Between his activity level and physical traits, he’s a prospect worth betting on his upside.
Kamari Haston has long been one of my favorite defensive players on the circuit. In an epic game against P.L.U.T.O Prospects he caused turnovers and deflected passes. He’s a scrappy defender that plays with an edge and uses all of it to bother the man in front of him. He does all the dirty work on the offensive end to keep plays alive, get to the free throw line, finish through contact, and make the extra pass.
Shooters Shoot
Maybe there was something in the air at Cobb Galleria because known shooters showed out. Andrew Signorelli of Ball4Lyfe 16U scored 19 points hitting 6 of his 9 three point attempts. The 6’6 wing is one of the most consistent 16U marksmen.

made 5 threes over two games with good efficiency. Juenemann’s floor spacing was key in their 20 point romp of Beast Elite. Josh Wolff hit a groove from deep that resulted in 32 points. 18 of those points came from his 6 threes. His hot spots were the corner threes.
Big Time Performances
Kadyn Betts was all world on Saturday. The recent Minnesota Basketball commit scored 68 points over two games showing off a diverse scoring package. Need a three? He hit four of them. Wanted someone to score in the midrange? His faceup game netted several long jumpers. Betts worked out of the post, made plays for his sharp shooting teammates, and scored in transition. The 6’8 forward scored in every way possible during a double overtime loss.
