Luke was one of the better shot blockers at this event while only standing at 6’3. Possessing an abnormal wingspan (6’7-6’9), Luke recorded 3+ blocks in multiple games as a one on one and help side defender. Some of Luke’s most impressive blocks came above the rim in transition. The wiry framed wing made his presence felt on offense as well, primarily as a straight line driver and energizing offensive rebounder. Given his athleticism and long strides, he could quickly accelerate past opponents. One area of improvement for Luke will be getting more comfortable driving with the left hand, although he proved to be an ambidextrous finisher.
Barrett Moddelmog – PGUHoops – 2025
The 6’3 Moddelmog had excellent touch around the rim or out to NBA range. Although not an exceptionally quick guard, his strength and high feel made the game come easy. Based off of Moddelmog’s comfort level, my last guess would be he is an incoming sophomore. Given his long arms and careful handle, the shooting guard did great drawing fouls inside. Time and time again he hunted ideal matchups, often ending in a made bucket or free throws. Arguably the largest x-factor with him is his abnormal shooting range, where he is comfortable taking shots well behind the NBA line. By the way, he is lights out from that range. Hustle is another key trait of Moddelmog, where he dove for loose balls on multiple occassions.
Delonte Wallace – Oklahoma Hawks – 2022
Wallace was a downhill force this past weekend, proving to be nightmare for opposing defenders. Versus Black Diamond, a very aggressive defensive group, Wallace had four and-1 opportunities in five possessions. Standing roughly 6’3, Wallace is not a pure scorer, demonstrating some passing vision on drive and kick situations. Transition is another area Wallace stood out, proving to be a legitimate vertical athlete who can finish with authority. Defensively, Wallace holds up 1-3 thanks to his ability to take hits without folding.
Tejon McDaniel McCormick – PGUHoops – 2023
One of the more versatile skillsets from the weekend, the 6’4 wing made his impact felt on both ends. Serving as a frontcourt piece with PGU, McDaniel-McCormick had to bear the brunt of rebounding responsibilities. He is a patient defender who does not mind guarding length, even showing some poise when tipping the ball away. On the other end, the young wing flashed some high level ballhandling when given the space. He predominatly used crossovers to create opportunities getting downhill, where he was capable finishing through contact with either hand.
James Reveles Jr James Reveles Jr 6'3" | SF El Reno | 2023 State OK – Oklahoma Runners – 2023
Reveles was about as consistent as anyone this past weekend, serving as a rebounder and interior scorer. While not being an elite vertical athlete, Reveles was everywhere on the glass while finishing through contact. The 6’4 forward showed self creation chops out of the mid post, baiting defenders before turning the corner. Although Reveles gets most of his shots in the paint, he rarely missed his free throws and had a few mid-range jumpers. Given his low center of gravity, Reveles is a tough matchup to contain with his combination of power and touch.
