With University of Oregon team camp wrapping up last Sunday, we got a chance to check out some of the best teams in the state as they continued through summer ball. Here’s a look at some of the top passers from the final day of games:

Sebastian Stowasser (2023 Ashland)

As the Grizzlies continued to impress on Sunday, they deployed a steady dose of Stowasser, who serves as the primary point guard for a team full of shooters. With a strong, controlled handle and a steady pace, the 6-foot Stowasser finds his guys well.

[player_tooltip player_id="861101" first="Ryan" last="Schleicher"] (2023 Tualatin)

As Tualatin battled Gresham on Saturday morning, Schleicher pushed the pace in transition and made a few nifty no-look passes to get his teammates into space. While the point guard is a terrific scorer, he really shines as a facilitator.

Coen Thurman (2024 South Eugene)

Thurman is a scrappy player with all cylinders on go at all times. On Sunday, the 5-foot-7 point guard displayed how he can affect a game without scoring. With sheer quickness and a terrific basketball IQ, Thurman made the right play all night as the Axe hammered Redmond.

[player_tooltip player_id="861087" first="Esyah" last="Pippa-White"] (2023 Gresham)

While Pippa-White did most of his damage as a scorer on Sunday, his ability as a passer was on display as well. As Pippa-White made a few athletic drives to the cup against Tualatin, his court vision and passing accuracy were on full display as he found both his shooters and his bigs throughout the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1110914" first="Carter" last="Fortune"] (2023 Southridge)

As Southridge dominated Willamette, its talented backcourt was on full display, as both Fortune and [player_tooltip player_id="1197476" first="Kaden" last="Groenig"] performed well offensively to lead the charge. Fortune was more apparent as a passer, using a variety of one and two-handed looks to find his teammates both inside and out.
