Evan Dickey Evan Dickey 6'4" | SG Chaminade-Julienne | 2023 State OH Chaminade-Julienne
Dickey is one of the better teammates and players you’ll find in the area. Playing on one of the most high profile teams in the state, Dickey brings elite athleticism to the table and can create for himself with his dribble and IQ. Makes the smart plays more times than not and is a high flyer. While undersized for a SF, Dickey could be a target for scholarship programs if he can develop a little more consistency with his shooting.
Carson Browne Carson Browne 6'8" | C Elder | 2023 State OH Elder
Browne was in a different role than what I’ve seen with Elder previously or on Mid Ohio Pumas . At 6-foot-8, he’s certainly got the size to play at the next level and has shown he’s got solid game around the rim. Has great hands and good footwork on the block. With the Pumas Browne was able to handle the ball more and played a little bit more on the perimeter. Elder’s missing several guys from a year ago which will force Browne to step into the role of being the primary scorer for the Panthers.
DJ Brown Fenwick
Brown played well for the Falcons against a bigger Mason team earlier in the day. At 6-foot-4, he is a lot like previously mentioned Evan Dickey Evan Dickey 6'4" | SG Chaminade-Julienne | 2023 State OH from C-J with his athleticism. Brown struggles with his shooting which limits his output, but his bounce and ability to make athletic plays allows him to still contribute on the offensive end of the floor. Having a teammate like Bailey Temming Bailey Temming 6'10" | C Bishop Fenwick | 2024 State OH means Brown will have some chances to be a scorer when teams take Temming away from the rim.
Campton Williams Grove City
Williams has a physical body and put it on full display against Oak Hills to open the day of hoops. The lefty has a solid handle of the ball and put it on the floor multiple times for the Greyhounds. A workhorse on the offensive end with his slashing ability. Williams showed versatility having post moves on the block and step down with a dribble. He impressed me throughout the game and could be a hidden gem in the Columbus area.
Ben Golan Ben Golan 6'4" | PF Mason | 2023 State OH Mason
Golan was solid when I watched him with R4L this Spring and continued to play well for the Comets in two games Thursday. The 6-foot-4 SF has the frame for a forward and showed poise and confidence with the basketball in his hands. While not a scoring threat, Golan forced defenses to account for him with his presence on the glass. Attacked rebounds hard and with a purpose. I’ve mentioned previously Golan plays like a typical GMC prospect and this was confirmed with his play at Oak Hills.
