Elias Lewis Elias Lewis 6'2" | SG Olentangy Orange | 2023 State OH Nova Village (Olentangy Orange)
Lewis has continued to be one of the better stock risers this Spring with his performances on the UA Rise and in Grassroots. His athleticism and involvement on both ends of the floor makes him hard to miss. Covered a ton of ground and simply made turnovers on the defensive end. Caught my attention offensively with his shooting touch off the bounce. Lewis is going to be part of a very experienced Olentangy Orange team that will make a case as one of Central Ohio’s best teams this Winter.
Jeff Amapps Jeff Amapps 6'3" | SF Pickerington North | 2023 State OH Nova Village (Pickerington North)
Amapps had big shoes to fill as Nova was battling some injuries in their tournament run. Amapps isn’t the tallest player, but his ball hawk mentality and big time bounce potential. Feasted on the glass and simply jumped over guys on the glass. Could be a target for small schools.
Desh Molton Desh Molton 6'0" | PG Gilmour | 2023 State OH TNBA ‘ last=”] Select (Gilmour Academy)
Molton has the swiftest handle I’ve seen in awhile and really impressed me against Nova Village. Keeps the ball tight and close. Explosive off the drive and gets great penetration once he beats the initial defender. At times Molton struggles with his jump shot and could face issues once defenders take away his driving lanes. For now, he will continue to turn heads with his playmaking.
Kyle Irwin Kyle Irwin 6'4" | PF Mayfield | 2023 State OH TNBA ‘ last=”] Select (Mayfield)
Irwin was a prospect I’ve heard about but had not seen in person yet. Boy did he not disappoint. Versatile with his body at 6’6. Certainly bigger for a wing but had the skillset for a 4. Competes and plays with a motor. Really liked what I saw out of Irwin and think he continues to be a prospect that could be a small school target.
Other top performers: Brandon Rose Brandon Rose 6'4" | SF Gilmour | 2023 State OH (Gilmour Academy), Isaac Thompson ( TNBA ‘ last=”] Heat), Perez Lemon (Sims Showtime Raiders)
