I was at the event throughout the weekend and focused on the 15U Division. Here’s a look at some additional wing players I saw.
1. Daveyon Chisom – Long Beach Jordan 2025/LA Elite 15U Premier
Chisom is a player I saw for the first time about a month ago with his high school team. He had more of a role with them, but he still did some good things with his AAU team. He’s athletic and loves to get out in transition. He can handle the ball but runs the break mostly as a finisher off-ball. In the halfcourt, he spins off the dribble to get into the lane and he attacks closeouts on the perimeter well. Defensively, he forces the ball-handler along the baseline.
2. Jeremiah Profit – Temecula International Academy 2027/Gamepoint Inland Empire 2025
Profit isn’t even in high school yet but he did well holding his own against older, more experienced players. He can handle the ball and attack the defense off the dribble. His handles and solid for his age and size and he can dribble under defensive pressure. Good spin moves to shake the defender. Can draw fouls at the rim and get to the free-throw line. Good shooter from three-point range. He’s very fluid in his offensive motions.
3. Jaymari Redmond – Long Beach Jordan 2025/LA Elite 15U Select
Redmond is a big guard who can play either backcourt position. This weekend, I saw him play mostly off guard. He has a nice crossover to get into the lane and he’s decisive with his dribbles; no wasted movements. He knows what he wants to do on the court. Good vision on the break to see open teammates. Defensively, he stays locked in on the wing. He can keep up with the ball-handler and he does a good job fighting around screens.
4. Callen Gebhardt – Erie 2025/Colorado Titans 2025 Gold
Gebhardt was a bit of a combo guard. He did well moving the ball around and trying to get his teammates involved in the offense. Definitely a pass-first type player. He pushes the pace well and he’s got good vision on the break, keeps his head up while dribbling and stays looking for his teammates. In the halfcourt, he does a good job giving up the ball and relocating to where he can hit the open three.
