Mason Hunt Mason Hunt 6'5" | SG Bradshaw Mountain | 2024 State AZ (2024) | 6-4 G | – | D-1 Nation AZ 2024 |
Hunt’s height and high release point make his jumper hard to contest as he would shoot over defenders closing out with ease and knocking down threes at a high clip all tournament long. His shooting ability is the perfect compliment for his team’s dominant big who draws in the attention of the D leading Hunt to have open looks from three where he makes the defense pay.
Jake Miller Jake Miller 5'11" | PG Rancho Solano Preparatory | 2024 State AZ (2024) | 5-10 G | – | Hoop Society 2024 |
Miller was knockdown all tournament long and hit many clutch threes. His speed and ball handling ability make him a smooth shooter off the dribble and his accuracy allows him to get past defenders overplaying him worrying about his jumper letting him get to the rim where he showed off crafty finishing ability.
Isaiah Gonzalez (2024) | 6-1 G | – | Rancho Elite 2024 |
Gonzalez’s shooting ability fits in perfectly with the faced paced athletic play of Rancho Elite. He gets to his spots and is available as an efficient catch and shoot player due to him constantly moving without the ball helping Rancho cap off back-breaking runs with timely threes and being a big part of their squad that just won the 16u division
Owen Bugas (2024) | 6-0 G| – | Team Rampage 2024 |
Bugas as one of the main ball handlers for Rampage not only does a good job of getting his team into their offense but he is a constant threat to come off of elevator and down screens to hit threes. Bugas also has a nice pull-up jumper from the midrange and he gives Rampage a go-to guy when they need a three knocked down.
Daniel Mills (2024) | 5-10 G | – | Desert Basketball Club 2024 |
Mills was consistently dialed in from three-point land every time I got to watch him. His shooting forms a good one-two scoring punch along with his teammate Jadon Pierce which helps take the defensive pressure off of each other. Desert Basketball Club stayed in a lot of games due to Mills’ shooting this weekend
Derek Tuason (2024) | 5-9 G | – | Coastal Elite 2024 |
Tuason is a volume three-point shooter who can catch fire in an instant. He hits threes in bunches and can come off screens and shoot them off the dribble, this combined with his range makes him one of the best shooters on the circuit. Tuason is no slouch in the other departments of his game either which are complemented by his shooting prowess letting him be a great play-maker as well.
