Coryell Spates Jr.
Coryell Spates Jr.
Spates Jr. had a big time game to help send his INB squad to the final 8. He lit up the scoreboard for an electric 31 points. Spates Jr. averaged about 15 points per game at the Grit Region Finals. He scored with a quick trigger jumper that splashed through the net as well as with his ability to run the floor and makes plays when doing it.
Thompson has had a tremendous spring and has turned heads at every single Prep Hoops Circuit event. He’s let it be known that he’s without a doubt a next level talent. Thompson averaged over 20 points per game last weekend and did it in dominating style. He showed the ability to score consistently from above the rim and was a force on D as well.
Highlights
Carter has been turning heads all summer, but at the Grit Region Finals, he made some necks sore. He averaged just shy of 20 points per game and 5 assists per game. He’s fast and smooth into the open floor and finishes there with consistency. Carter is a solid all around athlete that can make plays from multiple spots on the floor.
Highlights
Hathcock adds a ton of value to his team. He does the dirty work and does it well. Hathcock was a beast over the weekend averaging almost a double-double with 9.6 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game. He flat out ended and extended possessions all weekend long.
Vasko was electric at the Grit Region Finals. He was a stat sheet stuffer that came just short of a triple-double. Vasko was big in big moments, hitting game winner that sent his team to the final 4. Vasko showed tremendous balance on his jumper making him always look so comfortable shooting the ball. I really liked the way he played off of contact as well. He scored efficiently and effectively from all 3 levels over the weekend.
Highlights
Charleston is a very underrated all around talent, but he won’t be for much longer if he continues to play like has has this summer. He averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per game last weekend. Charleston is low key very strong and can with and through contact. He’s a steady player that showed a very high basketball IQ at the event.

Lucas Porter
Lucas Porter
Porter put himself on the map with his performance over the weekend. His play was highlighted by a 29 point outburst in his teams final game. Over 4 games, he averaged 18 points per game. Porter is playing his best basketball and is a player to keep an eye on as as high school season approaches.
