At SWAC, the gym was full of prospects showcasing their talent, ultimately with the same goal, to take home the Grind Region Championship. Here is a list 5 standout players from Saturday afternoon and evening action.
Camrin Garza Camrin Garza 6'1" | PG San Antonio Jay | 2025 TX | 6’1 G | ProSkills SA 15u Black
Slashing guard with a tight handle. Plays with great pace and has the ability to create space laterally then break off his man and attack downhill. Finished very well with either hand on both sides. He didn’t shoot it often from deep when I watched but he did knock down a couple triples. On the defensive end he had multiple steals, great lateral quickness, and just locked on to the man he was guarding.
Kellen Jedlicka | 6’6 F | Arnold Elite 2024 National
One of the more dominant big men I watched this weekend. What impressed me the most is how under control he plays. Jedlicka really just plays his game. He consistently got positioning down low and was able to locate mismatches. Phenomenal touch at the rim, and when he did miss he was more often than not getting his own rebound and finished the second attempt. Vocal leader on the floor for his squad as well.
Omarion Carr (’26) | 5’11 G | Alpha and Omega 2025
Carr was an interesting prospect to watch. At first glance I couldn’t believe he was a 2026. Big time slashing guard that can elevate at the rim. Athleticism and quickness are two things he portrays. The burst of speed he has when getting to the rim is impressive. As a defensive savvy I have to applaud how he plays defense. Sits low in a dance, energy, quick and bouncy. 2026 with a lot of time to continue to grow his game.
Terrell King | 5’9 G | I AM 3 Prospects 2025
If you want to watch a two way guard that flat out competes, I highly suggest you watch Terrell King when you get a chance. Both ends of the floor he gives 110%. Offensively he didn’t shoot it too much but he will get to the rim on his guy and he doesn’t fear anyone down low. Defensively you could go on and on about King. Terror of an on ball-defender, hands in passing lanes, knocked a couple balls loose when he was sliding in to help, and can elevate in transition and get a block.
Jayden Brown | 5’7 G | I AM 3 Prospects 2025
If you have watched Jayden Brown play you know he can shoot it lights out, and finish well of two down low. In a game where he wasn’t quite getting as many triples to fall he was able to impact the game in another way. To pair up with King, Brown was also knocking balls loose then getting out and running in transition. Brown was a big reason defensively I AM 3 was able to cut a 10 point lead down in nearly a minute. He clutched up offensively and knocked down a late game three to tie I AM 3’s matchup with Sparks. To round out with his defense and shooting Brown handles it well and is another competitor on I AM 3’s squad.
