In a weekend full of close games, big time shots, and players competing here are some players who stood out to me.
Johnathan Walker (‘25) | 6’1 G | Team TJ Ford 2024
Really like his handle and ability to not only score it but facilitate it. Flashed some range, shakes his defenders on the cross more often then not, finishes but also distributes it down low, executed some real tough finishes including a late game left hand left foot finish with contact.
Noah Curry | 6’4 F | Team TJ Ford 2024
Very strong big down low. Very strong finisher with some good footwork to pair along with it. He was an absolute monster on the offensive boards especially, grabbing sometimes multiple offensive rebounds in a possession. Curry is a grinder when it came to the glass.
Vonte Sanders | 6’6 W | Sparks Basketball Club 2025
The 6’6 wing is a very versatile prospect. His squad had him playing anywhere from the 2-4 offensively. With his length he was able to guard 2-5 as well. He can stretch the floor and knock down the 3, step up and hit the mid range, and finished well at the basket. He utilized his length to grab rebounds, was able to grab and go and push the pace for his team.
Jaylan Clifton (’26) | 6’1 G | Arkansas Ducks 2025
As a 2026 playing up against 2025s he still has a lot of time to improve his game but from what I saw he already has a fairly polished game. Slashing was his best attribute as he was able to finish at the rim well. As more of an off-ball guard he attacked closeouts well and could really slice through the defense and finish, through contact as well.
Ayden Rashada | 6’0 G | Sparks Basketball Club 2025
One of my favorite players I watched this past weekend. Stellar lead guard for his team who displayed great leadership, being the floor coach. He was directing traffic and getting his guys to his spots. He didn’t force much, passes or shots, but made the right passes and knocked down the triple when he was open. Moves off-ball and has a real smooth jumper. You can’t help but appreciate how vocal Rashada is on both ends, and to add to it, he guards full court
