Facing a very tall Canada Elite team, Blue was spectacular, doing all of the things you expect from the former #1 player in the PrepHoopsTN senior class. Cain hit the three-pointers from 18-21’. He called for an used a halfcourt screen to perfection, darting afterwards to the rim. Cain’s explosion continues to improve, and he will only get bouncier and more dangerous with a year of development at the I.M.G. Academy.
Shane Cherry Shane Cherry 5'9" | PG Austin-East | 2025 State #353 Nation TN (BMaze 17u)
It is vital to acknowledge Shane Cherry Shane Cherry 5'9" | PG Austin-East | 2025 State #353 Nation TN Shane played up from the Class of 2025 and still completely carved up the Canada Elite guards.
Vasean Allette (Canada Elite 17u)
He did not play for BMaze, but deserves a special recognition. Grinder. He is a bit of a talker, and that appears to motivate him. He is always yelling encouragement at his teammates, but also inserting some verbal jabs to his opponents. The speed and mid-air agility is elite. He can shoot or take a ding and score too.
Yesan Warren Yesan Warren 6'1" | SG Knoxville Catholic | 2023 State TN (BMaze 17u)
Yesan continues his lengthy BMaze career with pride. For years now Yesan gave his troops extreme effort. The most helpful contribution from Yesan is often defensive intensity and tenacity. He is strong-armed and rugged, eager to give a bump of contact or get dirty on the deck for a loose ball. What Warren is not is an outside shooter. That is clear. He will thrive at the next level as a role player with unrelenting defensive effort. Warren’s offensive limitations will effect his recruitment, but teams at every level need a player or two like him to win.
Juice Eleam Juice Eleam 6'5" | SF Knoxville Catholic | 2025 State TN (BMaze 15u)
The early evening game for Juice Eleam Juice Eleam 6'5" | SF Knoxville Catholic | 2025 State TN was his best yet. He showed tremendous rebounding instincts. Eleam displayed excellent speed on the break and some elegance, as well.
Jahvin Carter Jahvin Carter 6'2" | PG Alcoa | 2024 State #214 Nation TN (BMaze 17u)
Jahvin was largely a shooting guard for BMaze 17u, alongside the darting Shane Cherry Shane Cherry 5'9" | PG Austin-East | 2025 State #353 Nation TN and ball-handling Blue Cain. He did his part in the first half. When the team needed him to create, he did not really do too much. The ’24 guard was neither selfish nor knifing with his dribble. More than anything Jahvin was cautious when handling, though assertive when shooting. His touch was not great in the morning into early afternoon game, but he did hit two first-half three-pointers in rhythm. During the fourth quarter, Jahvin went to work a little more. He hit the defenders with pump fakes, the up-and-under and an assortment of tricky moves. Anytime he earned free throws, he made them count. Jahvin is the kind of player that slowly suffocates you like a boa in the second half of basketball games.
During the Thursday evening game Jahvin played more on-the-ball. For all of Cherry’s speed, Jahvin is better at handling the pick’n’roll and making the help defender guess and guess some more.
Reed Ownby Reed Ownby 6'4" | SG Sevier County | 2025 State TN (BMaze 15u)
HT: BMaze 15u up 34-30. Amazing half by @ReedOwnby . His offensive skills and shot innovation are surprisingly advanced. Will he sophomore for Sevier County.
