There were multiple division one coaches in the gym looking at the enormous array of talent. Check out my analysis on some of the top Texas prospects from the event!
Bryson Wheatfall Bryson Wheatfall 6'4" | CG Summer Creek | 2025 State #129 Nation TX 2025 6’5 St Pius X High School (LOFDL EYBL E15)
Bryson is an athletic guard/ wing prospect with his ability to get downhill and attack the rim. He is not afraid to go through a defenders chest on his way to the basket, but normally turns the corner on just about anyone with his sudden ability to burst to his spots on the floor. I was very impressed with the pace that he played with, constantly going a step harder or faster than his opponent. He has a tremendous frame which allows him to be a real weapon in the paint, and loves to hang in the air to get a defender off his back. He is not just a slasher however, he calmly scored off the bounce from beyond the arc and was a really consistent catch and shoot weapon, playing well of of his lead point guard.
Defensively, he has the size and athleticism to do just about anything a coach could ask. He has a great motor and is willing to chase down defenders on the fast break. He came up with some very impressive and emphatic blocks down low, staying vertical and affecting the shot with his length. Where he really thrived was his ability to play in the passing lanes, and then run the other way to finish on the break. His consistency going coast to coast was incredibly impressive and allowed him and his team to get quick and easy buckets in transition. Wheatfall has all of the athletic tools, basketball skill and effort a college coach could want, he has a lot of potential just oozing out of him.

2025 6’6 Fulshear High School (JL3 Elite Battle)
O’Marion is an incredible athlete who is willing to fight and do all of the dirty work necessary to help his team be successful. He has a great motor and is willing and able to defend any position on the court. He moves his feet at a very high level, allowing him to defend on the ball and use his length to harass ball handlers. His athleticism allows him to be a real weapon across every inch of the court, moving his feet to play the passing lanes and run coast to coast. He tipped multiple passes and was able to run the other way and finish in the paint. He is very confident with his handle in the open court, knowing he finishes at such a high level over seemingly anyone.
Where he is the most successful is down low, on both ends of the court. He fights hard for positioning, constantly outworking out boxing out bigger opponents. He is athletic and works hard to fight and thrives at the small ball 4 spot. When he grabs defensive rebounds, he always pushes the pace and keeps his head up to attack in the open court or make the right pass ahead. Harvey has all of the offensive tools and skill set to develop into a high level wing or forward at the next level.
Sebastian Williams-Adams Sebastian Williams-Adams 6'8" | PF St. John's | 2025 State #35 Nation TX 2025 6’7 St. Johns High School (JL3 Elite Battle)
Sebastian is an athletic wing prospect with unlimited potential, who has really made a name for himself this summer in the EYBL circuit for his versatility and ability to dominate off the bounce by getting to the rim or calmly scoring in the mid-range. I was very impressed with his footwork and agility at his size and age, he calmly was able to get to his spots and get into moves that were comfortable for him. He was great at taking two power dribbles and getting into a bunny hook or a soft finish. He was great at using his lankiness and frame to get in front of his opponents and effectively seal them from having a chance to affect his shot. He even showed an ability to catch lobs and finish with emphasis when necessary.
Where he really stood out however, was his ability to affect the game defensively. He came up with blocks and rebounds through the entire two games that I watched him play in. He high-pointed the ball well, and always seem to collect the ball with two hands. He was not just affecting things on the interior, he closed out hard on shooters and got a few deflections by simply getting his hands up. He has tremendous footwork for his age, allowing him to stay in front of smaller and quicker guards on the outside. Williams-Adams has all of the tools to become a high major prospect soon.
Matthew Bingham 2025 6’5 Summer Creek High School (Drive Nation 2025 Wickliff)
Matthew is a hard working and lanky wing player who can play the small ball forward role. I was very impressed with how well well he was able to outwork other forwards and affect the game on the interior. He had multiple blocks on the interior, sliding over at the right time to affect his shots in the paint. His elite rim protection at his height is incredibly impressive, and is a real testament to his motor and willingness to fight on the interior. He is a high level rebounder who works hard to high point the ball and snatch boards from other opponents. His ability to play small ball allows his teammates to affect the game on the perimeter and allow him to clean up all the dirty work down low.
Offensively, he is good at going quick and attacking a single defender before the help comes. He is great at using two dribbles to get to his spot in the mid-range or out the post using drop steps and quick jabs. He goes up strong and showed an ability to fight through contact as he explodes his way to the rim. He showed an ability to dunk on bigger opponents who are underneath the rim. He has great shooting mechanics, and was a very consistent option from the free throw line, knocking down clutch free throws.
Javori Washington 2025 6’3 Cypress Falls High School, TX (1 Dream 1 Team Sports 2025)
Javori is an aggressive guard/ wing who can lock up multiple positions and finish through the chest of any opponent in the paint. He is elite at turning defense into offense and finishing on the fast break. In transition, he is a force to be reckoned with, he attacks straight down the floor and forces the defense to react. He is good at waiting for just the right moment to find his teammates wide open cutting to the basket after drawing the attention of their defender. His relentlessness with a live dribble and constant penetration allows him to live in the paint, and create countless opportunities for his teammates. I was very impressed with his ability to not only hunt for his own shot but create layups from his dump off passes after drawing a second defender, or an accurate pass out to his shooters. In the half court, he is a real weapon out of the pick and roll through his ability to tightly turn the corner and forcing the second defender to make a decision. He calmly makes the right reads time and time again to get his teammates open looks.
