Justice Sutton – Ball 4 Life – 2024
Sutton brings an intriguing blend of size, skill, and IQ for his 6’5 frame. Sutton’s fullcourt passing vision was a rare quality from someone his size. Whenever there was an advantage fast break situation (2 on 1, 3 on 2), the wing was assertive and accurate with his passes. While he is still adjusting to a larger volume of three pointers, there is no doubt Sutton will be a consistent floor spacer in this upcoming season.
Darien Luke – Black Diamond – 2023
While only 6’3, Luke was one of the best rim protectors in both the halfcourt and fullcourt. His long wingspan and excellent vertical made him a defensive terror, posting at least five blocks in multiple matchups.
Jaedon Eddens – Oklahoma Wolfpack – 2022
Eddens was excellent defending the interior and grabbing rebounds at 6’5. A wiry athlete, he made transition dunks look effortless and was especially influential protecting the rim. Eddens did not fear opposing bigs, going up for layups regardless of contact.
Delonte Wallace – Oklahoma Hawks – 2022
Wallace was one of the more physically imposing athletes this tournament, especially when attacking the rim. Quite a few times, Wallace scored through contact and grabbed fouls. The x-factor came from his overwhelming confidence, never shying away from contact in the paint.
Davieon Clinton – SWIFT – 2023
Clinton was influential scoring the ball in a variety of ways off the dribble while using his scoring gravity to create passing lanes for teammates. At 6’ tall with long arms, Clinton was especially confident scoring jumpers off the dribble. The guard brought some flash as well, making no look passes on the break or along the baseline in the halfcourt.
Caleb Crosby – 405BadBoyz – 2022
The unsigned senior was influential as a high energy rebounder and interior defender at 6’7. With above average strength and mobility, Crosby was a difficult matchup to deal with as a rim roller and versatile defender.
Evan Barber Evan Barber 6'1" | CG Westmoore | 2023 State OK – Rogue – 2023
Barber is about as refined an offensive talent as anybody, possessing an elite jumper and excellent strength. The 6’ lefty did a lot with a little, scoring 20+ points on multiple occassions. Whether he was attacking the rim or pulling up from beyond the arc, Barber positively impacted the game.
Karsen Williams – Runners – 2022
Williams was one of my favorite players this tournament due to his high feel for the game and ability to efficiently impact winning. Standing 6’1, Williams was excellent scoring the ball in a couple dribbles, if any. He was a knockdown shooter off the catch while using that gravity to score around the rim through contact. In the open court, Williams consistently made the right decision as a passer. The biggest upside to Williams is his perimeter defense, dominating against the best playmakers from opposing offenses.
Zyire Allen – Enid – 2025
Allen possesses the extra flash and instincts that is rare to find among guards, especially at his age. His long arms allowed his crossovers to be just wide enough to fly by guys where he attacked the rim without fear. On multiple occasions he used misdirection crosses to get opponents off balance. Simply put, Allen was one of the more entertaining and effective downhill scoring guards from this event.
