Moskowitz is a skilled ballhandler who is excellent getting downhill with a variety of dribble moves and hesitations. The modern point guard brings grit and never backs down. His ability to change speeds through quick crossovers always keeps opponents on their toes. When he gets downhill, Moskowitz has great vision hitting perimeter shooters on kickouts with either hand. While only standing at roughly 5’11, he has become especially crafty with the short floater against size. Ultimately, his biggest strength right now is the jump shot, where he can get the rock off in the blink of an eye.
Alexander Baldessari Alexander Baldessari 6'4" | SF Douglas County | 2023 State CO – Douglas County
Coming into a larger role with Douglas County, Baldessari’s shooting ability off the dribble and positional strength will quickly aid the incoming youth movement in Castle Rock. While he will be an excellent offensive glue guy, Baldessari’s biggest impact will be felt on the defensive end. At roughly 6’4, he can match up the majority of guards and wings within Colorado. At the University of Northern Colorado camps, he proved to be sturdy down low versus opposing bigs.
Eli Robinson Eli Robinson 6'6" | PF Lewis-Palmer | 2023 State CO – Lewis Palmer – PLUTO
Possessing excellent size at the wing, Robinson has quickly ascended as a two-way threat in the Colorado hoops scene. Standing 6’5, Robinson has been an essential glue guy with PLUTO while continuing to assert his dominant scoring abilities at Lewis Palmer. The wing averaged four stocks (steals + blocks) per game with a dominant 4A championship team. The shot blocking alone is a major strength of Robinson’s, where he has blocked shots off the backboard quite often. While he is a consistent shooter from distance, he is especially dominant getting downhill with either hand, shooting 63% on two pointers last season.
Master Diggins Master Diggins 6'4" | CG Faith Christian | 2023 State CO – Faith Christian
The 6’3 combo guard possesses one of the more unique playstyles in the state given his ability to change speeds. A lefty, Diggins brings excellent positional length and wiry strength. Footwork and balance is an area Diggins has mastered around the rim, where he is automatic scoring off either leg. Another area of intrigue will be his shooting efficiency, as he can not only create contact but score off the dribble within the mid-range.
Armon Baker Armon Baker 6'4" | CG Thomas Jefferson | 2023 State CO – Thomas Jefferson – Miners
Another rangy 6’4 combo guard, Baker brings excellent positional positional reach alongside plus vertical athleticism. Baker is an under discussed prospect here in Colorado, given his myriad of skills at his size. This past season at Thomas Jefferson, Baker put up 5+ assists in eleven games and 4+ steals in seven games. For guards, Baker is a true swiss army knife. One area of improvement for Baker is getting more consistent with the three pointer, attempting 62 while only contributing 26% of those shots.
Josiah Gordon – Thomas Jefferson – Miners
Gordon is an especially gritty wing at 6’4, where he makes himself especially potent in transition. Capable rising up with two hands, Gordon has been continuing to get more powerful as a vertical athlete. The incoming senior has also made a major impact as a rebounder, both with the Miners and Thomas Jefferson, leading the his high school in rebounds per game at seven. Not to mention Gordon averaged above three stocks per game.
