Jalen Childs Jalen Childs 6'3" | PG Beaverton | 2023 State OR , Beaverton
After playing most of the AAU season with Oregon Prospects, Childs finished out the summer playing with Progress Elite. The recent transfer to Beaverton holds offers from Portland and Idaho State and is currently planning out a time to make an official visit to the latter. The 6-foot-3 point guard noted that Sacramento State attended three of his games this last tournament and some of the other schools that remain in contact include Loyola Marymount, Incarnate Word, Weber State, Wyoming, UC Irvine, UC Davis, and Washington State.
Jackson Cooper Jackson Cooper 6'5" | SF Cleveland | 2023 State OR , Cleveland
Cooper played with Fly Select the entire spring and summer and while he was one of the team’s top big men, he was also able to operate a bit from the perimeter. He’s been hearing from schools at all levels, from D-I (Idaho State, UC San Diego, Incarnate Word, Youngstown State), D-II (Northwest Nazarene, Western Washington), D-III (Occidental, Cal Lutheran, Whitworth, George Fox, Union, Macalester), and NAIA (Bushnell, OIT, Corban, Arizona Christian). While he was in LA for the tournament, he made unofficial visits to Cal Lutheran and Occidental and he’s planning visits to OIT, Northwest Nazarene, Macalester, and Idaho State.
Jared Sucher Jared Sucher 6'4" | SG Sherwood | 2023 State OR , Sherwood
One of Cooper’s teammates with Team Fly, Sucher made an impression with his athleticism and ability to really score the basketball from the perimeter. The 6-foot-4 wing noted that he has scholarship offers from Western Oregon and OIT, the former of which he picked up while on campus for an unofficial visit. He’s hoping to also make a visit to OIT as well as St. Martin’s, who he’s also been in contact. Sucher indicated that he’s likely going to wait until spring to make a decision.
Graham Eikenberry Graham Eikenberry 6'10" | PF St Andrew’s RI | 2023 State OR , Lincoln
Eikenberry had a successful run with the Washington-based Big Drip Hoops as one of the top big men on the PrepHoops Circuit Hustle Region. The 6-foot-11 senior holds three offers from Southern Oregon, Pacific, and Eastern Arizona but notes that he’s also been talking to Cal Lutheran, Northwest Nazarene, Puget Sound, Northwest (WA), and Cornell.
Malik Brown Malik Brown 6'0" | PG Tigard | 2023 State OR , Tigard
The quick point guard from Tigard spent the AAU season with Fly Select alongside twin brother Kalim. He noted that coaches from Central Washington, OIT, and Bushnell were present at several of the team’s games in Los Angeles this past weekend.
