The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. For stop number 8 the circuit returns to Phoenix with the Brawl For The Ball. The event featured several players effective filling lanes and finishing. In this article, we take a look at the top Wings from the event.
Damian Perez 6’5 SF D1 New Mexico 2025 (featured image) – Perez was a revelation that was awesome. Before we discuss the skills, his mentality needs to be mentioned. The wing played the game at an even keel, never getting too high or too low. On the skill side, he showed the ability to shoot the ball accurately from behind the three-point line as well as finish in transition. While I didn’t get a measurement of his hands, he had a dunk that reminded me of former NBA legend Larry Nance, as the 6’5 wing palmed the basketball before gliding to the rim and hammering home a slam.
Will Heimbrodt 6’6 SF Team Rampage 2023 – Heimbrodt is one of the circuit’s biggest stockrisers and he showed why. The small forward showed a ton of skill and played the game at his pace. He never seemed rushed, and he calmly sank open threes. When he wasn’t making defenders pay from behind the arc, he was able to get out in transition and show some above-average athletic ability. Easy to see why the new SCA product recently picked up his first D1 offer from Seattle U.
Julius Brower 6’0 SG IE FIre Elite 2025 – If I learned one thing from this weekend, it’s that Brower is the best Mid-range shooter in America. The wing was nice, using dribble drives to get to his spot and pull up. In all honesty, I don’t remember him missing from 15-18 feet. He’s also an IE Fire guy, so that means you can expect tough hard nose pressure defense and Brower brought that. Behind his play, the FIre was able to pick up 4 victories this weekend.
Kingston Porch Kingston Porch 6'6" | SF Eduprize | 2026 State AZ 6’4 SG D1 New Mexico 2025 – Not going to lie, Porch took some wild shots. What was even more amazing was the rate that he made them. The lefty used a high arcing rainbow delivery to burry numerous deep threes, his speed and quickness also allowed him to get out and finish in transition.
Elijah Williams Elijah Williams 6'5" | SF Brother Rice | 2026 State MI 6’5 SF AZ Unity 2026 – Elijah Williams Elijah Williams 6'5" | SF Brother Rice | 2026 State MI is coming. I won’t ignore his lineage and pedigree, however, his game stands on its own. He was terrific this week both on and off the ball. He showed good ball skills, driving to the bucket, as well as delivering to teammates. He also showed a much-improved jump shot, knocking down his share of threes. He was one of the better off-the-ball players, as he came off screens, and used subtle cuts to get open. Williams is a player that put himself squarely into the conversation of one of the top players in his class.
Cameron Holmes Cameron Holmes 6'5" | SF Millennium | 2026 State AZ 6’4 SG AZ Unity 2026 – The lefty Holmes was nearly unstoppable when getting to his strong hand. Holmes had a knack for blowing by defenders and then finishing at the rim. He showed that he can beat you from behind the arc, and incorporated several advanced moves, like the Euro and his escape dribble. Like Williams, Holmes used this weekend to put himself squarely in the conversation of one of the top players in his class.
