Daniel Civello
Daniel Civello
Dan is really starting to breakout, as he is starting to grow into his body. He has grown a lot over the past few years. He is a big man, who is mobile. In the game I saw he had a double double. He has a soft touch around the rim. He has a soft hook shot, and had some smooth finishes. He is 6-9 but can run the floor. He also was great on defense as a rim protector, and playing help side defense. Daniel has a lot of potential. He has gone a bit under the radar, but coaches should start to take notice.
Lorenzo Jackson
Lorenzo Jackson
Lorenzo is a strong built big man. He can run the floor, and moves well for his size. He showed the ability to score inside, and post up. He also showed the ability to stretch the floor and shoot. He is a paint protector, and played good defense without fouling. Lorenzo has a good combination of skill and size.
Rolando Castineyra
Rolando Castineyra
This was the first time I saw Rolando play live. He hit a number of shots from mid range and three point range. He has a soft shooting touch, and a good shooting motion. He was also able to get in the paint and score off 1 and 2 feet. He is a playmaker, and plays with skill and high energy. I think Rolando has the potential to be a very good division 3 player, or be a mid Major division 1 player.
Michael Coggins
Michael Coggins
Michale is a versatile player. He can play point guard through forward on offense, and guard positions 1-4 on defense. He is playing a grade up in AAU, and has been an impact varsity player since his freshman year of high school. In the game I saw he was a three level scorer. He could shoot the three, get to the rim, and play off the ball as well. He also made a lot of good reads on the defense, to find his open teammates for layups, and open three pointers. Michale is a high IQ basketball player with a lot of upside. I think he is a high division 3 or Possibly mid division 1 player.
Drew is a sharp shooting guard. He reminded team’s that he is not to be left open, as he made 5 three pointers in one game at the Tournament. This summer he has had a bunch of strong three point shooting performances. He can get his shot off quickly, and in multiple ways. Drew is not a player who will isolate one on one. He is a player who plays within the offense, let’s the play develop and moves the ball well. He has a high basketball IQ, and reads the defense well. In the tournament he played well on defense, and did a good job stopping the ball, and rotating. He made it tough for players to get by him. A shot maker, who can get stops on defense is a good way to give your coach a reason to play you. Drew is in the class of 2025, so he has more time to raise his stock and develop
