Mason Weisbrodt (2023) Dayton Elite Black (Flyght Prep)
Weisbrodt had one of the best performances I saw the entire weekend and saw his stock rise significantly after putting up dominating performances in multiple games. At 6-foot-9, he has the size for a college Center and played with a chip on his shoulder; winning 50/50 balls and out rebounding opposing bigs. Weisbrodt is doing a prep year at Flyght Prep this upcoming season after finishing a strong career at Batavia.
Charlie Heywood (2023) Nova Village-Edwards (Columbus Academy)
Heywood has a really good body on him and has a high ceiling at 6-foot-8. While not as physically put together, he has good defensive mechanics. Long arms and met the ball at the rim against posts or dribble drive wings. I will want to see some more development of his offensive game with Columbus Academy to see how far Heywood can go.
Cayden Zachrich Cayden Zachrich 6'5" | PF Defiance | 2023 OH (2023) NW Ohio (Defiance)
Zachrich has solid footwork on the block and was instrumental for NW Ohio in a win against Ohio Stars. With the team being guard heavy, Zachrich was forced to anchor the paint and utilize a thicker frame and post presence. Impressed with his post moves as Zachrich got some good looks with the up-and-under move. Controlled the ball and was strong. Undersized for a center and may translate more to a PF at the next level.
Pierce Smith (2023) Thunder Basketball (Grace Baptist)
Smith joins this list as the only prospect from Georgia. At 6-foot-6, he is undersized for a Center, but shows the footwork and body frame to be a threat around the rim. Very soft touch at the rim and finished over contact. Scored with his back to the basket or getting squared to the rim.
