A.J. Altobelli | 5’11” | G | Union Catholic
Altobelli was a name to watch coming into his freshman year and he’s continued to showcase himself on the AAU circuit with Marston Elite. He’s got good ballhandling skills and can shoot with confidence. He’s a tough defender with active hands and quick feet that creates turnovers. He’s got a bright future as one to watch in what is becoming a crowded Union Catholic backcourt this winter.
Myles Blackley Myles Blackley 6'3" | SG Immaculate Conception | 2025 State NJ | 6’3” | G | Summit
Blackley exploded on the scene as a freshman for Summit. A lean guard who attacks the basket with power. He can also get hot from beyond the arc and is very active on defense. He’s also an athletic shot blocker on defense. His top nights as a freshman were against Scotch Plains(20), Cranford(22) and Madison(28).
Asher Bradley Asher Bradley 6'0" | PG Oratory Prep | 2026 PA | 5’11” | G | Oratory
Summit’s crosstown rivals have a quality 2025 of their own with Bradley. He contributed in each game as a freshman and worked his behind off on the defensive end, which is always a great way to earn PT as a young player in high school. He’s a tough defender on the press and has quick feet to beat defenders to spots. Has a good court vision and is wise beyond his years. He had 13 vs Rutgers Prep and 10 vs Roselle Catholic. Bright future for the Unity Legends AAU prospect.
Danny Murray Danny Murray 6'4" | SG La Lumiere | 2025 IN | 6’5” | G | Roselle Catholic
Murray was offered by a reputable program in U-Mass prior to ever stepping on the floor for the Lions as a freshman. He will grow into one of the top players in the class. Lefty who can score it and can make a living beyond the arc. He didn’t see a ton of time as a freshman but on a loaded program like RC, most freshman are in “watch and learn” mode. He’ll be an impact player as time goes by.
David Ekhelar David Ekhelar 6'8" | C Newark East Side | 2025 State NJ | 6’7” | F | Newark East Side
Anthony Tavares and Bryant Garvin have always been lauded for their ability to develop electric guards in Ironbound, but they’ve had their fair share of top shelf bigs as well. Ekhelar is the next in line. He got time as a freshman and will be expected to play a bigger role for East Side in the coming season as one of the few big men on the roster. He plays AAU with the Sandy Pyonin’s Roadrunners, a legendary program known for producing top tier talent that is still relevant on the Tri-State hoops scene…Plus, Sandy has awesome sneakers. We like them, so the Roadrunners get an extra point or two for his style.
