Gio Panzini Gio Panzini 6'5" | SF St. Rose | 2024 State NJ , 6’5 SF Red Bank Catholic
Panzini has had a good summer for Team Rio University as he can impact the game in a variety of different ways. The 6’5 wing knows how to get to the basket and finish through contact in the paint. Panzini is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can make opponents pay for giving him space from behind the arc. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Panzini is a two-way wing prospect who will be a player to watch in 2022-23.
Owen Griffin Owen Griffin 6'4" | SF St. Joe's Metuchen | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 SF St. Joe’s Metuchen
Griffin has had a solid summer for Hoop Heaven Hawks Elite as he can play either on the perimeter or in the paint. The 6’4 wing has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Griffin can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He slides his feet on the defensive end and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Griffin is a hard-working wing who does whatever it takes to win.
Christian Durham, 6’4 SG Paul VI
Durham will most likely play in the backcourt at the next level but has the potential to play on the wing. The 6’4 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim and finish strong. Durham is more than just a slasher as he shoots the ball with confidence and has a good release on his jumper. He moves well without the ball in his hands and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Durham has been making plays for Team Final Red this summer and should continue his play this coming weekend.
Khalid Bakare Khalid Bakare 6'5" | SG St. Benedict’s | 2023 NJ , 6’5 SG St. Benedict’s
Bakare has the potential to play either the two or the three at the next level with his combination of size, length and athleticism. The 6’5 wing is a good perimeter defender as he moves his feet well and uses his length to make it hard for opponents to get good shots up in the half court. Bakare is a solid finisher around the basket and does not mind drawing contact. He is a good rebounder, and the ball does not stick in his hands. Bakare is a tough wing prospect whose ability to defend multiple positions will help his stock in a big way.
John Kelly John Kelly 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’6 SF Hillsborough
Kelly has been making plays this summer with the NJ Panthers and it should carry over into the winter season. The 6’6 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for dunks and layups in transition. Kelly uses his handle to get to the basket and elevates nicely on the jumper. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and has an underrated handle. Kelly is an intriguing prospect to watch as he can impact the game in a number of ways.
