PG Donovan Bender – John Overton / Premium Ballerz Youth Organization
Bender plays with skill. He was first acknowledged by PrepHoopsTN in November of 2021. Bender does everything you want a point guard to do: pass, shoot, dribble, makes his teammates better.
6’4″ PG Deion Subaran Deion Subaran 6'4" | PG Coffee County | 2023 State TN – Coffee County / PSB-Nashville
Deion continues to be the backbone of PSB-Nashville offensive sets. Being AAU, the team does not run elaborate sets, but within the parameters provided, Subaran is effective. Above average athlete. Inconsistent outside shot. He’s got good size at 6’4″ and plays hard defensively. A typical AAU weekend looked likes this: 13 ppg, 6.5 apg.
5-10 PG Reece Pride Reece Pride 5'10" | PG William Blount | 2023 State TN – William Blount / Pro One TN
Winner. Though he had plenty of help, Reece’s William Blount High tied a school record in 2021-2022 with 21 wins. June proved WBHS’ season was no fluke. They began 16-2 against some very strong teams. Pride possesses a nice package of floating layups, three-pointers, sharp passes, etc. In addition to shooting well off-the-dribble, Pride consistently becomes truly threatening by keeping his eyes on the potential pass when dashing to the basket. He is equally capable of finishing a high layup off the window as he is dropping off a probing pass when help comes.
5’11″ PG Donovan Smith Donovan Smith 6'0" | PG Nashville Christian | 2023 State TN – Nashville Christian School / Stars Nashville
Volume scorer for his high school. Of the players included here, Donovan might be the most prolific scorer. Efficient deep shooter. Further, Smith gets the basketball through his shooting motion superbly, quicker than most. Elite student.
Our first 2023 Player Spotlight is PG Donovan Smith (@_iam_djsmith_)! Donovan plays for Sam Moran’s 2023 STARS team. Donovan had a great spring with our club and we can’t wait to see him compete in July! Coaches, make sure you see him in-person during the live periods! 🌟 pic.twitter.com/1JvdVTuzv3

PG Jairus Terry Jr. Jairus Terry Jr. 5'9" | PG Fayette Ware | 2023 State TN – Fayette-Ware / Tennessee Blazers
Terry is a strong student (3.6 GPA). He is grinder with a hard-driving motor. Though he is a short, for the college level, point guard, Terry is powerful in the chest and back. He fully embraces the necessary contact to finish in deep. For the Blazers to win, Terry generally needs to remain in attack-mode throughout.
