Ben Oakley (2024) Hilliard Davidson
Oakley was impressive to me in a win against Carroll at the shootout. While not the biggest player, he plays more physical and tougher than he looks. Initiates contact and battles for 50/50 balls and showed some streaky shooting ability. Oakley will need to add quite a bit of muscle to his frame. Once added and combined with his internal drive, he could be a very target for D3 programs.
Jermail Adkins (2025) Trotwood-Madison
Trotwood was down several of their top guys at Wittenberg which allowed Adkins to play quite a bit. Standing at least 6-foot-9, Adkins has an incredible frame and literally had a hand on every rebound on the offensive end of the floor. Adkins is very raw and appears to be continuing to learn how to use his body in the trenches. Once he can put the pieces together, I can see him being a scholarship type of player.
Ben Krumpe (2023) Hilliard Darby
Krumpe did a lot of the intangibles for a Darby team that battled but lost to Bethel in their finale. At 6-foot-5, Krumpe impressed me right away with his size on the wing. Communicated and shifted on the defensive end and showed leadership potential on the floor. Competed with a high motor.
Conner Cravaack (2023) Madeira
Cravaack was one of the more intriguing prospects I watched as the 6-foot-5 PF had a great presence in the paint for Madeira. Cravaack sealed the post and frankly played with more physicality than anyone at the shootout. Utilized setup dribbles in the paint to create shots at the rim and over Carroll’s size. I was impressed with his motor and could see him being a steal for D3 programs.
Sean Mckitrick Sean Mckitrick 6'2" | SG Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State OH (2023) Carroll
McKitrick was arguably the MVP of the shootout Saturday with a 37 point performance against Kenton Ridge and the game winner against Madeira in OT. McKitrick is making an argument to be the best shooter in Dayton and maybe even in SW Ohio. Has an impressive clip and can makes shots anywhere on the perimeter.
