Today We Will Looking at the New Names In the Classes of 2025 and 2026 We Saw At the Event: (Includes one 2024 Prospect)
Wabaunsee
Cole Frank, 5’7 PG, 2025: The sophomore is a smooth operator off the bounce and has the opportunity to come into this season and be a big role player for the Chargers. Plays with poise in the backcourt, runs their offense well, an adept finisher with space, and can find open teammates on cuts and kick outs. Plays with a ton of heart and along with his brother Zach will be making contributions this year.
Jeff West
Drew Belman, 5’7 G, 2025: Was arguably the best Tiger on the day. The young guard knocked down shots most consistently for them especially in the mid range game and off the dribble. Belman was able to get to his spots after a few turns of the basketball or off ball screens after some movement. Plays with some swagger to him on both ends of the floor and has a ton of potential and will see a lot of time this year.
Tucker Holthaus, 6’ W, 2025: The lefty sprints the floor really well, gave the Tigers some length, and had a really solid freshman year for them that he will be looking to build off of starting the summer. Had some bright moments Saturday hitting a couple of catch and shoot threes, athletic rotations on defense, and sprinting the floor to get transition plays.
St Mary’s
Zach Sommers, 5’10 G, 2025 (Pictured): Has long arms and has the potential to become a pretty athletic guard. Sommers has the makings of a knockdown shooter as well, especially when shot ready on the catch. Played a little point on the day as well and could be a must needed role player right away for the Bears next year with some guards graduating. Flashed some really bright moments on offensive.
Howie Rezack, 6’1 F, St Marys: Will be a vital front court player with the departure of Criqui. Brings them some athleticism, toughness from the forward spot and some paint scoring. Ran the floor really hard during their games, battled for boards, and the motor stayed running hot. Had a couple of offensive put backs and some finishes on dump off passes.
Perry Lecompton- 2024 Player
Tyler Reed, 5’11 G, 2024: Special addition here as on the varsity stage for Perry they only had older guys running. He is a big utility piece that is a big time hustle guy and defensive presence as a guard. Had a couple of solid plays either passing for a layup or scoring in transition.
