Matt McEwen Perrysburg
McEwen gets after it defensively and was a total glue guy for the Jackets against Big Walnut. Great lateral quickness and on-ball awareness when defending. Extremely physical and plays with such a strong frame. Doesn’t have to bring much to the table offensively but defensively might be the best on-ball guy I’ve seen this Summer.
Avery Hunt Perrysburg
Hunt was another solid performer for Perrysburg and was huge in a win against Big Walnut. Hunt brings a chiseled frame and stretching capability on the offensive end. Showed great finishing with either hands around the rim. Shows the attributes of a guard on the offensive end and defensive awareness protecting the rim.
Ryan Sissel Portsmouth West
Sissel didn’t necessarily dominate on the offensive end for Portsmouth West but instead brought toughness in the trenches. A two sport standout, Sissel has the frame of a LB and utilized the frame and toughness to battle in the paint. Fronted the post and took away entry passes from UCV.
Kaleb Schaffer Kaleb Schaffer 6'5" | PF Bishop Ready | 2023 State OH Bishop Ready
Schaffer plays with a lot of energy and had a higher motor at times than anyone on the floor. Possesses a great guard like skill set at 6-foot-6. Schaffer brought versatility on the offensive end being a multi-level scorer. Being one of a few key seniors for Bishop Ready, Schaffer already owns an offer from Rio Grande and should be a force in the CCL.
