Nick Dorn Nick Dorn 6'5" | SG JL Chambers | 2023 State NC | 6’4 Guard/Wing | JL Chambers
Dorn is fitting into his role as the primary option in the JL Chambers rotation after turning heads this weekend. He put up a 25-point, 7-rebound, 5-assist and 2-steal stat-line on the final day of games to show off his ability to do more than just score the ball. He earned an offer from Radford University following that performance and as he continues to show off his athleticism, versatility and ability to shoot from all three levels, look for that list to grow.
Brock Rose Brock Rose 6'6" | SG Florida Coastal Prep | 2024 State NC | 6’6 Wing/Guard | Ardrey Kell
Rose showed why he should be considered one of the top shooters in NC’s 2023 class after impressive games shooting behind the arc. He put up 40 points and followed that up with 38 points against Panther Creek, where he knocked down six 3-pointers in that one. He earned his first offer from Radford University after his play at Rise Indoor during the live period. Look for his stock to rise over the next two months.
2 of the 38 that #BrockRose put up on #PantherCreek just now. GReat TEAM win in our first of the day. We’ve got another at 4:30 at Rise Indoor. Come on by! @brockrose27 #AKBasketball #TCC pic.twitter.com/xPbk9dvIHM

Kenan Parrish Kenan Parrish 6'9" | C Northwood | 2023 State NC | 6’9 Forward/Center | Northwood
Parrish has come along in the frontcourt after coming off the bench in 2021-22 for the Chargers. He’s shown his growth as a finished around the rim, rebounder and passer out of the high post. He’s an underrated big man deserving of attention given his growth on the hardwood.
Elijah Strong Elijah Strong 6'8" | PF Myers Park | 2023 State #230 Nation NC | 6’8 Forward | Myers Park
Strong has already gotten offers from Radford, High Point, Wofford and App State but his list of offers is certainly due to grow after his productive weekend with Myers Park. He’s improved his body tremendously and his mobility has shown that as he produced 13.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg in the rotation. He’s shown he can run rim-to-rim and finish in traffic with his strong frame.

Jaiden Thompson Jaiden Thompson 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2023 State NC | 6’0 Guard | Central Cabarrus
Thompson showed off his growth as a guard that can play without the ball as he showed he could make things happen as a defender and coming off screens. He’s an all-around guard that will be fun to watch this season alongside the Daniel twins, who also know how to wreak havoc. It might be one of the toughest trio to play against in the state in 2022-23. Mid-Majors and Low-Majors in the state and surrounding areas should give him a look.
Nigel Okwakol Nigel Okwakol 6'5" | CG Quality Education Academy | 2023 State NC | 6’5 Guard/Wing | NC GBBA
Okwakol had himself quite an active weekend at the VA Live Shootout on CBG Live. He really turned things up on the final day as he upped his scoring to games of 28 and 31 points, though they came in close defeats in the end. He kept his squad in games and knew when to look for his offense and when to get others involved. As he shows his growth/consistency, look for some offers to come his way.

Tichyque Musaka Tichyque Musaka 6'10" | C Golden State Prep | 2023 CA-N | 6’10 Center/Forward | NC GBBA
Musaka added a Mississippi State offer to his growing list after his productive weekend at the VA Live Shootout. He showed his growth as a rim-to-rim presence that can block shots and finish around the rim in traffic. When the ball wasn’t in his hands, he showed he could crash the glass and be a presence around the rim there as well. He’s a sleeper in NC’s 2023 class.
