Demetrius Phillips (Illinois Hoopville Warriors): A robust 6’5″ forward from Lutheran-St. Charles with a big body and a versatile skill set that makes him difficult to match up with. The big lefty has a nice power game with good footwork in the low post. He also has a very good finesse game from the perimeter. He has the handles to beat defenders off the dribble and he has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. He also got his share of buckets off the offensive glass.

Lafayette | 2023
State
MO
(Hardwood Elite): A 6’7″ forward from Lafayette who does many things to help his team succeed, many which may not show up in the box score but a very important to winning. He rebounds well and he sets solid screens and he makes the right pass to keep the ball moving. He is mobile and athletic and he scores well around the basket, either on the drive or on a offensive putback. He picked up an offer from Webster University during the weekend.
Elias Silas Elias Silas 6'0" | PG Steam Academy At McCluer South Berkeley | 2023 MO (St Louis Pistons): 6’0″ point guard from STEAM Academy at McCluer-South Berkeley who has good quickness and a high basketball IQ. He distributes the ball well and he is a creative scorer with 3-point shooting range and the ability get downhill off the dribble. He plays solid defense with his quick hands and willingness to move his feet and keep ball handlers in front of him.
Ben Rumanyika (COMO-TNT White): A 6’6″ forward from Hickman who was a real worker bee around the basket throughout the weekend. He has a long and slender build, yet he doesn’t mind working through contact in his tireless quest for rebounds. He has a quick second jump on the offensive boards, which resulted in putbacks. I enjoyed watching him play throughout the weekend because he gave maximum effort.
Makar Nemkov (Go Hard-STL): A 6’0″ guard from Gateway Legacy who scored 20 points in the opening game of the weekend that I watched him play. He has a strong body that is built for contact and he used it well when he attacked the basket for buckets and free throw attempts. He also compliments his ability to drive with his good 3-point shooting.

St. Dominic | 2023
MO
(Mo Thunder): A 6’0″ point guard from St. Dominic who plays with good pace when he has the ball in his hands. He can shoot the ball well from 3-point range and he has a solid one dribble move to get into the paint for a short jumper or a runner.
DK Thomas (COMO-TNT White): A 5’11″ point guard from Hickman who excelled at both ends of the court with his combination of quickness and toughness. He was very good on the drive and he played very effectively off of two feet when he got into the lane. He also did a good job of picking up ball handlers in the backcourt and applying good on-ball pressure.
