The set up featured 12 courts inside the NFL stadium and drew teams from multiple states, including some of the top-ranked talent in the country. I this piece we give a more detailed look at the best players we saw over the weekend with some household names and unfamiliar prospects included.
Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL , 2025, Columbus (FL) – Two of the players mentioned in this set of five “Best Players We Saw,” to me, were two of the best prospects in the entire event with Cam Boozer being one of them. The 6-foot-9 forward is the complete package on both ends of the floor despite being just 14 years old. Offensively, Boozer can step out and knock down the three-ball, has great feel as a low-block scorer and has the ball skills and fluid athleticism to beat defenders off the dribble and get into the lane where he can finish with power dunks or crafty layups. Perhaps the most impressive part of Boozer’s game was his approach to it. The rising sophomore had a no-nonsense attitude where he rebounded, ran the floor, blocked shots, made a high IQ basketball plays all while staying focused and engaged on the task at-hand.
Carter Bryant, 2024, Fountain Valley – Bryant is the second prospect we were referring to above when mentioning the two best prospects in the entire event. Bryant, a 6-foot-8 wing, has all the tools you look for when evaluating a next-level prospect. The rising junior has the obvious size and athleticism “measureables” of a high major perimeter player, but it’s all the little things he does that make him such an intriguing prospect. Bryant has elite defensive potential with his knowledge of help-side positioning, his willingness to be a vocal leader on that end to go along with his timing, anticipation and verticality as a shot blocker and rim protector. Offensively, Bryant is as versatile as they come at his age. He can knock down the catch-and-shoot three-ball, has point-forward ball handling and vision and is a high IQ shot-maker and playmaker out of mid-post face-up situations.
Cayden Boozer Cayden Boozer 6'5" | PG Columbus | 2025 State #28 Nation FL , 2025, Columbus (FL) – The second of the twin Boozer brothers was impressive in his own right while running the show for the Miami-based high school team. Cayden, a 6-foot-3 rising sophomore, has the elite feel and basketball IQ of a prospect who has spent as much time around high level players as he has. Boozer plays with a nice command of the position and really understands when and where to get his teammates the ball for the team to be most successful. Boozer was willing to get off the ball, made the right plays in transition and wasn’t bothered by any on-ball pressure that was applied by defenses. Offensively, Boozer is best when using his strength and speed to get downhill and to basket.
Chris Nwuli Chris Nwuli 6'7" | SF Wasatch Academy | 2025 State #38 Nation UT , 2025, Bishop Gorman (NV) – The 6-foot-7 rising sophomore put together a strong weekend on both ends of the floor. The long, rangy and athletic forward is a versatile defender who can protect the rim inside, hedge and recover on ball screen action or switch onto and contain guards when needed. Nwuli is a gifted athlete who is light on his feet, plays with a high motor and rebounds and runs the floor with purpose. Offensively, Nwuli is best as a rim-runner and transition finisher with his fluid athleticism and soft hands and touch. He also flashed some impressive interior passing and ability to get second-chance opportunities for his team on the offensive glass.
Dedan Thomas, Jr., 2024, Liberty (NV) – The consummate floor general was consistent to that evaluation yet again as the rising junior made all the right plays and decisions to put his team in position to win. Thomas isn’t the biggest, fastest or most athletic player at his position, but his steadiness and high basketball IQ as a ball handler and decision-maker, and ability to knock down open catch-and-shoot triples, puts him in the conversation of one of the best true point guards on the West Coast.
