Jalen Robinson Jalen Robinson 5'10" | PG Columbia | 2023 State NJ | 5’10” | G | Columbia(Maplewood)
Robinson is one of the top returning guards in Essex County. He’s got good ball handling skills, is unafraid to drive at bigger defenders and is smooth around the rim. He’s also got range from deep. He’ll flirt with the 1,000 pt mark as a senior. His top games as a junior were 24 vs Newark Central, 22 vs Newark East Side and 20 vs Immaculate Conception. There will be a host of schools taking a look at him the next few months and into his senior year.
Rahmire-Sanon Kelly | 6’1” | G | Newark University 2024
Good ball handler who finishes strong at the rim. He’s unafraid of contact and can get big men in foul trouble with his crafty work at the basket. Runs the floor in transition well. Top games as a sophomore were against Newark East Side(13), Central(13, 11) and Seton Hall Prep(10). He’ll see an expanded role as a junior for the Phoenix. Colleges should keep an eye on his next two years.
Sean Agard | 6’0” | G | Irvington
Agard had a big junior year in spite of Irvington’s team struggles. He’s a good ball handler, has a quick first step, finishes strong around the rim and can also step back and hit from beyond the arc. Nice quick release on his shot. Hit for 20 on the regular. Had 31 vs Newark Tech and 24 vs Immaculate Conception. If Irvington improves this season, he will play a big role in it. Irvington struggled vs a very tough schedule and he held his own. Local D3s should take a look because he can score the basketball.
Hazir Lee Hazir Lee 6'2" | SG Newark Central | 2023 State NJ | 5’11” | G | Newark Central
A lean guard who runs the floor well and has good passing skills. His offensive game took on a more well rounded approach as a junior and he’ll be asked to carry a heavy load as a senior as Central graduates a host of very talented players. He had 23 vs North Star and 21 vs Newark East Side. D3s should take a look at him this winter.
