6’1 G Austin Johnson || Ogden High School || 2023
Johnson has the ability to glide through the lane and hang in the air for acrobatic finishes. The 6’1 guard is an elite athlete who also possesses an impressive wingspan. Johnson showed off both these traits on defense, forcing turnover after turnover. Ogden likes to press, allowing Johnson to steal passes and swarm ballhandlers. In the half-court, Johnson is capable of getting past defenders, but when defenses collapse, he knows how to find his open teammates on the outside or off cuts. In addition, Johnson is hard to stop in transition, demonstrating that with a huge one-handed flush in Ogden’s game vs. Westlake.
6’8 C Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School || 2024
Lemke is a crafty big who makes the right read with the ball in his hands. Dixie likes to get Lemke the ball on the elbow and run action around him, letting the center set up his teammates. He also does an excellent job catching drop-off passes when he’s not at the elbow and finishes at the hoop exceptionally well. Lemke also utilizes his 6’8 frame well, gobbling up any rebound within his reach. The 6’8 center uses his size well-done low and is always active on the offensive glass. In one of the weekend’s highlights, Lemke put an exclamation mark on Dixie’s big come-from-behind overtime win vs. Alta with a two-handed slam.
6’0 CG Easton Hawkins Easton Hawkins 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2025 State UT || Lehi High School || 2025
Hawkins is a long wing who is not afraid to use his size to his advantage. The 6’0 combo guard does an excellent job of taking advantage of mismatches by posting up smaller guards in the paint. In addition, Hawkins does a good job of reading the floor and finding open shooters if a double comes. When faced with a taller player, the Lehi product is adept at scoring in many ways. Hawkins can get by defenders off the dribble and possesses a high release on his shot. The lengthy wing can hit inside and outside the three-point line. Hawkins has a high basketball IQ and knows when to use pump fakes to get defenders to fly past him for an easy basket.
5’10 PG Deajai Guaydacan || Spanish Fork High School || 2024
Guaydacan is a complete point guard who competes on both ends of the floor. He may only be 5’10 but possesses an impressive wingspan that allows him to poke the ball away from opposing guards. Guaydacan also has an excellent feel for the game; whether it’s his timing when striping ball handlers or finding his teammates, the Spanish Fork guard knows when to make a play. The 5’10 floor general can hit his teammates in transition or when operating in the half-court. Guaydacan also finishes nicely at the rim and has no fear when attacking the hoop.
