Aries Hull (Bolingbrook)
Hull caught our attention in the very first game. The 6’8” center is a transfer that is moving back to Illinois. Long and lanky post that moves fluidly. He finished well around the hoop, runs the floor, had a couple hook shots, and a nice drop step. Will make a big debut in our next update.
DJ Strong (Bolingbrook)
The other Bolingbrook name that caught our attention was Strong. This 5’9” point guard is a plus shooter that can really let it fly from the perimeter off spot up threes. Should play well next to Cooper this year.
Owen Kyhl (St. Ignatius)
Speaking of big shot makers Kyhl emerged for St. Ignatius because of his ability hit perimeter shots. Made his open looks at a high clip from three.
Ray Austin (Rich Township)
Austin was outstanding as a three point threat. This 6’1” two guard nailed five triples in the game we saw for Rich Township letting it fly with a ton of confidence!
Antwan Robinson (East St. Louis)
Robinson has good size on the perimeter as a 6’4” shot making wing that can also defend multiple positions. The Flyers wing definitely put himself on the map with a quality outing.
Will Hamilton Will Hamilton 6'3" | SF Sacred Heart Griffin | 2023 State IL (Sacred Heart Griffin)
Hamilton came into his own this weekend. The lengthy small forward defended multiple positions while also being a plus shooting threat when opportunities presented themselves.
Brayden Fagbemi (Benet)
This 5’11” thick bodied point guard was a kid that made big shots for Benet. Gritty guard that can defend a little and played well inside of Benet’s system.
Dominick Johnson Dominick Johnson 6'0" | PG Glenbrook South | 2024 IL (Oswego East)
Johnson opened up their Sunday morning game on fire! He has nice size and length at 6’6”. Decent ball handler that wins on straight line drives and is an effective offensive rebounder. Showed a quality outside shot as well.
