It’s seen players like Derrick Coleman, Bill Buntin, Pierre Brooks II, Howard Eisely, George Gervin, and Jalen Rose just to name a few. The class of 2025 has some elite athletes that could carry on that tradition of greatness. That being said, let’s look at the ranked PSL players in the class of 2025.
Darius Acuff Darius Acuff 6'2" | PG IMG | 2025 State #9 Nation FL (PG, Detroit Cass Tech)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #2
Acuff is an elite ball handler that can go both ways and make the ball disappear to his defender. Hre can be a 1 man press break with his handles and passing. Acuff is incredibly smart with the ball and is quick and accurate decision maker.
Lance Stone Lance Stone 5'7" | PG Detroit Renaissance | 2025 State #179 Nation MI (PG, Detroit Renaissance)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #3
Stone is a silky smooth athlete that appears effortless in his movements. He can find lanes to the rim, split defenders, and create off the bounce. Stone has tremendous court vision and can put a pass on target on the move in the open floor.
Jayden Savoury Jayden Savoury 6'6" | SF Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2025 State MI (SF, Detroit Renaissance)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #4
Savoury has that look as a can’t miss type of prospect. He has a college ready frame and the work ethic and dedication to go with it. Savoury can go head to head with anyone when he squares up on the perimeter.
Lee Harris Lee Harris 6'5" | SF Detroit Cass Tech | 2025 State MI (SF, Detroit Cass Tech)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #60
Harris can make plays offensively and really attack the defense off the wing. He seems to be at his best slashing to the rim and breaking out into the open floor.
John Baker IV John Baker IV 6'6" | PF Detroit Cass Tech | 2025 State MI (PF, Detroit Cass Tech)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #78
Baker IV is a highly regarded football prospect, but the young man can hoop at a high level as well. He has a length and strength combo that serves him well, especially defensively. Baker IV has strong hands and snatches down rebounds.
Terrance Hicks Terrance Hicks 6'1" | SG Pershing | 2025 State MI (SG, Western International)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #86
Hicks makes his motion look almost effortless and he can glide in the open floor. He has some flash to his game and can make some jaw dropping plays. Hicks could provide a lot of excitement in the coming years.
Tavion Fleming Tavion Fleming 5'9" | PG Detroit Frederick Douglass | 2025 State MI (PG, Detroit Frederick Douglass)

Fleming has a very high upside and is a player that could rise dramatically up this list. He’s a fleet footed guard that can get a step on his defender, allowing him to create for himself and teammates. Fleming has the ability to put up points in a hurry.
