As one of the best basketball camps in the United States, these athletes are looking to learn how to not only be great basketball players but learn how to lead a team. In this article, I was looking for the most skilled players on the court.
Denis Woods – 6’1” – PG – Bishop Montgomery / 2025 (Torrance, CA)
Put this kid in the open court and he is near impossible to stop. Over the next 3 years he should be filling out his frame, but he is still already able to finish strong at the rim after his freshman campaign. Streaky shooter but shows a lot of promise with some of the rawest talent I’ve seen in a while for a freshman with his size. Look for his shot to develop as he is in the gym every day, and we should be hearing his name.
Kal-El Gentles – 6’6” – SF – Crockett Early College High School / 2023 (Austin, TX)
An upcoming senior, he is currently looking to fill out his frame as he just keeps growing. His newfound frame has helped him bully his way through his competition using length and agility. He has a great shot selection as he takes what the defense gives him, whether that is a mid-range jumper, or a path to the rim, while still shooting a great percentage from three.
Lucca Hart – 6’1” – PG – Nipomo / 2023 (Nipomo, CA)
The most talented scorer in the building. He has it all; Driving to the hoop, mid-range, outside the arc. With that said, he also has a tight handle that helps keep the defense’s attention on him which helps him with his playmaking skills. A very talented scorer and passer with everyone’s eyes on him when he’s on the court.
Ravi LaCorte – 6’0” – SG – Pinnacle / 2023 (Phoenix, AZ)
A 3 and D knockdown lefty shooter who is attentive to his craft. Started reserved but proved by the end of the week that he was one of the best players on the court. Lengthy two-guard that steps up on the defensive end and is a threat the second he crosses the half-court line. This dangerous lefty shooter is looking to show out in his senior season at one of the top basketball high schools in Arizona.
